Its 10 story good looking 3 star hotel and pretty neat & clean but price range 6-7K/night for deluxe rooms is costly as compare to Delhi/NCR but looks rates in all hotels of Guwahati is pricy. Its in main paltan bajaar which is crowdy place and no pleasant views from rooms. Its deluxe (Elegant Club) room has very small bathroom, just like any budget hotel. LCD TV screen was like 18-20 inch, no big than computer monitor. They use hard Mattresses instead of soft spring which was though pretty comfortable. My opinion is Luxury travelers please avoid however good only for a night of stay, Business travelers may find it fit if they get good corporate deals on their stay. Please avoid if you can afford to stay little away from city, many other good 4/5 star options available even in less price. Restaurant, Food, Lobby and ambience was good. Finally and overall if I forget price issue thinking its little pricy in Guwahati and if i forget that their elegant club room is basic and other rooms may be good, then thinking about good welcome, lobby, breakfast, and politeness of staff, availability of all needs nearby all these factors make this hotel overall good. Thats all of pros and cons i felt during my stay. Hope it helps. Regards, Shri

Conveniently located close to the Guwahati Railway Station and the Paltan Bazar Bus Station, this hotel offers nice, clean rooms with adequate amenities which are standard for 3 star property. The room are decently sized (I stayed at the standard double room) which had an electric kettle, a minibar and a TV which by today's standard is small. The lighting in the room, specially in the bathroom needs drastic improvement. The bed is low in height and the mattress is not very comfortable and the low-back chairs are sure to give you a backache. The bathroom, with low light looks dingy and the shower area needs cleaning. However, the most annoying thing is to be woken up very early in the morning by the terrible noise and loud honks of the traffic just outside the hotel. All said, this is a conveniently located hotel, maybe a little expensive, but with nice staff and a prompt service.

This one is located at the centre of the City, Paltan Bazar and is an extremely crowded place. Reaching this place during peak hours will take you a lot of time. The check in was quick and the stay was pleasant. The rooms are Ok, but the size of the TV is extremely small, I guess 21 inches which is not at all justified, given the rooms size. The mini bar is well stocked and is almost at MRP. The bathroom does not have enough light and hence feels a bit dingy.

Kiranshree portico is centrally located close to all the buisiness centres and offices. That obviously mean it is in the middle of the most crowded part of the city and its a pain to reach here during peak hours. But once you reach here it is an oasis of comfort .The check in was smooth as a breeze, the welcome drink was quick to follow, and in a minute you are in the comfort of your room. The room has everything you require, the electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies, mini bar with beer and chocolates and soft drinks, complementary mineral water bottles, appropriate lighting, study table and LCD TV.Apart from toiletries shaving kit, dental kit ,shower cap and a pair of slippers are provided. The room and the bathroom with a bath tub was neat and clean.complementary fruit basket which was missing soon appeared. The air conditioning was good and the sleep quality was good, but you are woken up early in the morning by the incessant horns of numerous vehicles. The complementary breakfast was very good and there was a choice of south ,north or continental. The reputation of a hotel is built by the employees. While some of the employees are well trained and customer oriented i found some with a casual approach to the customers.Overall Kiranshree is a very good option for a business traveler, and i would recommend this hotel to anyone who has some business around this area.

This is a hotel that could be great experiance, rooms are nice, facilities are great and modern but just needs the staff to stop saying YES and do the reverse. I suspect their english (Australian) is limited and overall looks slick but are not organised. To change money, accounting person not availble, when is available they do not have money. Ask do they do poached eggs? Yes. Then proceed to make fried eggs... Again, will you do poached eggs? Yes... and you get fried eggs. Ask do you have coffee machine? Yes. Can I have black coffee please? Yes. Then ask did I want milk? Then proceed to make instant coffee. In the scheme of things has position and potential but just needs a more focused manager and staff whe can move past the rehersed lines. Oh yes, security at entry. Have person standing there. When walk through with bags it alarms and they just look at you then you keep walking. Would stay again as would be more aware of limitation of pleasant staff understanding. Oh yes, forgot the frequent power interuptions. Take the stairs if in hurry.
