  • My Visit to Hotel Sita Manor

    by MOHAN_S105 on

I attended a scientific seminar today at Hotel Sita Manor. Nice exterior with wide parking area. Reception was spacious with well decorated. Hospitality is good, staff friendly. Decoration and interior well done. Our seminar cum dining Hall was good, Room very spacious with good decor and amenities. As it is located opposite main road, front rooms are little noisy.

  • Not worthy

    by Jaysinghrai on

Hotel situated at best place near Gwalior railway station and bus stand and public transportation available easily, but when we talk about service it's not worthy rooms are pethitc food quality below average and parking facilities are worst.honestly not recommended.

  • Big space no service, Hopeless

    by dipalis68 on

This hotel is located on main Gandhi Road opposite Akashvani Bhawan, which is around 1.5 km from the railway station or bus stand. The hotel rooms are very poorly maintained with most uncomfortable bedding or linen. The room service is below average for the hotel as well as food or breakfast. The travellers are might to be misguided by map location and big building. However, once in they will be highly disappointed as they will be served with torn bed linen or with just one-two LED bulbs in the entire room, you will also be welcomed with a lot of water leakage everywhere in the bathroom. Although the place is pretty big and spacious, rooms are also big and airy in comparison to some other hotels in Gwalior. Rooms has got a high ceiling and a large window. In-room there is a bed, Bedside Table, Working Table with Chair, Small table for dining with two couches, AC, dustbin and doormat outside the bathroom. The room was equipped with old style lighting i.e. hanging lamp, wall mounted lamp. A cupboard is available with adequate room for your belongings; it also has a big mirror, but in there is no light in this side of the room. Lighting is very dull, needs brighter lights. Though the bed was super soft and comfy the pillows are completely opposite to the bed, as pillows were a bit hard. There is no power outlet near the bed, where one can put his/her phone for charging and the electricity socket and switch broads are of the old style. Firstly I find the lot of difficulty in putting my charger, once I figured that the other challenge was it doesn't fit properly and struggled a bit to charge my phone there. Talking about the toiletries provided by the hotel is hopeless, as they provide toilet paper roll and 2 soaps and a clinic plus shampoo sachet. Nowadays when the hospitality industry keeps doing hundred different efforts to influence their customers in such cases this kind of service with leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. I believe they can at least include a body lotion and a body wash by reducing one soap and one shampoo sachet, as everyone is doing these days. Would also like to mention that I believe they still use the tap water to serve if one is not using bottled water, which causes health issues to people who are with the sensitive stomach, instead if they would use RO will be a great idea. Overall not the right place for your hard earn money to get the right value for money.

  • Nice Airy rooms but needs some changes

    by GauravDhaka on

The place is pretty big and spacious. Rooms are also big and airy unlike some other higher priced hotels in Gwalior. Ceiling is also very high and a large window, so no cramped feeling inside the room. Bed, Corner Table, Working Table with Chair, Small table for dining with two couches, refrigerator, AC, garbage bin and doormat provided. The room was equipped with old style lighting i.e. hanging lamp, wall mounted lamp. A cupboard is available with adequate room for your belongings, it also has a big mirror. Washroom was clean, has bath tub, garbage bin, a bucket and WC. The best part of my stay was room service. It was great. Food prices are also pretty affordable unlike many other hotels. Food taste was excellent. Service is very fast. I want water in night at around 1 - 1:30 PM and called reception. Even on that time the person with water arrived without any delay. 5 stars for service. Now why i deducted 1 star? Room Lighting needs to be improved, it is a bit dull, needs brighter lights. Bed was super soft and comfy but the pillows are just opposite to the bed. Pillows were a bit hard. Power outlet is not there near the bed, and they also are of old style. My charger doesn't fit properly and struggled a bit to charge my phone there. In toiletries, they provide toilet paper role and 2 soaps and shampoo sachet. They can include a body lotion and a body wash by reducing one soap and one shampoo sachet, as everyone is doing these days. Overall, the place is good, worth spending some time here, food and room service were key highlights.

  • Basic facilities

    by Kaushik S on

OK if one is just looking for a basic and decent place to stay. We stayed in room no. 106 for a day. Hotel looked empty and with very skeletal staff. Had breakfast, which tasted OK. Had chicken soup for dinner and found that good. Might have found food good if we explored further. Convenient location - about 2-3 kms from railway station Platform No.1. About 13 kms from the airport. Situated on main road (Gandhi Road, opposite Akashvani Bhawan and Doordarshan Bhawan).

  • As it is located opposite main road, front rooms are little noisy.
