What's Good: spacious rooms with private sit outs, gardens and green open spaces, facilities
What needs to improve : location is a bit away from the main city
Reason For Rating : Neemrana Deo Bagh is a wonderful heritage property.. with family shrines on the property which adds to it's rustic charm. the rooms are very well equipped.. with their private sit out areas. Food is also nice. Vast lawns and gardens on the property to enjoy the green open spaces. one should definitely read through the deo bagh history.. they have a book available at the reception upon request, which makes for an interesting read and gives an insight into Gwalior' rich heritage.

Stayed with family on 7th Nov. Was sceptical of safety measures & facilities. However, the way staff received us,we were relieved. While the property is good (stayed at Mohini Mahal) staff is excellent. Everything of stay was so good that we again visited on 16th Nov. Entire staff is taking all possible safety precautions. They wear gloves n mask full time. Food is good, place is clean, green, peaceful and staff is eager to serve . Feather in the cap is it's Pet Friendly place. Highly recommen to visit for short or long vacations. 5 star rating.
A Wonderful place

An oasis of calm in the madness of Gwalior. The entire staff(calling out Manoj of House keeping) led by the Manager Narayanji were courteous and helpful. We were here for 4N and they made us feel at home completely. The chef is amazing. Cooked us what we wanted and how we wanted. The entire ambiance with the peacocks strutting about, the squirrels eyeing you and the parrots on the guava trees are a complete stress buster. Fully COVID-19 compliant, kudos to the Neemrana management.
Dinner with friends

Deobagh is a heritage hotel. This beautiful property dates back to 1600. The ambience is wonderful, one has to be actually there to feel and see the beauty of the place. The hotel provides a wide variety of mouthwatering menu. The dishes had the warmth of home made food. The staff take great care in maintaining the hygiene and sanitisation in accordance with the government guidelines. We felt totally safe to dine in this pandemic times. It was a plesent dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. The hotel has adequate open space for maintaining physical distancing. It was a wonderful evening well spent with the friends and a good outing in the COVID Times. The Deobagh Hotel has been twice awarded Govt of India tourism award for the best heritage classic hotel across the county. I strongly recommend you visit the hotel for dining and stay during this Covid pandemic with 100% piece of mind. I thank the staff for taking good care during our visit. Mr Narayan the manager needs to be complemented.
Hidden Treasure & Personal Touch
by Surjo M on
From Mr. Baral - the Manager to the last person on the Staff, we were taken care of with a personal touch, which makes the experience special, at this hidden treasure of a place. We couldnt have asked for a better place for ourselves and our pets, who were travelling with us. And, in that sense, feel the Neemrana chain is a bit of a pioneer in the sphere of pet friendly hospitality.
A Royal Home away from Home

So bored of Lockdown, we finally dared to step out and Neemrana, Deobagh came to the rescue. Just 350 KMs from Delhi this became a fabulous visit. A spacious room opening in to the nau-bagh (lawns having 9 sections). Full safe checkin process with no contact at all. Surendra & Narayan were there to take care of us almost at each and every moment. This is a picturesque property and you should spend time here to enjoy the peace. Some other points: There is no TV in room and there is a separate TV room. Food is awesome and you can always reach out to the chef for anything specific. We had nice Lal Maas. Peacocks are there for your company and that will make the stay very nice. There are multiple birds on the property, do take out time to spot them.
All rooms should be good!

If you prefer old heritage rooms which are larger, try the Mohini Mahal.

One can take the ones facing the garden

every room is lovely - every other room has a covered sitting out area (the ones in between an open one)!

The best rooms are those facing onto the garden. They have individual terraces.
