This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. I travel extensively for work and pleasure, and I have stayed in every type of accommodation from Indian hostels to Dubais self proclaimed 6 star hotels. This place, however, achieved lows that I thought were not possible. The staff were rude - no eye contact and monosyllabic, in fact openly hostile to the fact that you were inconveniencing them by your presence. The room was filthy - hairs everywhere in the bathroom that remained there for the duration of our stay, no mattress cover, screwed up sheets, beaten up old mattress, and, worst of all, when we used the shower a mass of hairs and congealed fat came up through the plug hole and flooded the bathroom. The TV displayed the message that the bill hadnt been paid and the service had been cut off! WiFi only worked in the lobby. We went for a pre - dinner drink in the bar. We thought it was closed as it was pitch black as all the lights were off, until the barman informed us that it was open. We ordered our drinks but he refused to put the lights or the ac on. He did, however, put a Hindi film on the TV at full volume which caused him to laugh loudly and uncontrollably for the next 15 minutes. I have no idea why he refused to put the lights on, this was also the case with the main lobby in the hotel which we had to find our way around using our phone torches. I can only assume it was a cost-cutting measure. First night we went to the restaurant and were rudely ordered to sit in a segregated area for English guests only. The main part of the restaurant was reserved for Russian guests. We observed that each table of 4 Russians was attended by 3 waiters, meanwhile the tables with English guests had to wait 30 minutes for one reluctant waiter to take our order, and another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Again the waiter was extremely rude and aggressive. The food, when it arrived, was appalling. The mutton curry was all bones, no meat, cold and stinking of rotten flesh. It was inedible and went unpaid for. Our rep dismissed our complaints by saying This is real India - not Goa. I have travelled all over India, and whilst many places are very basic, they are clean and not a health hazard, as is the case with Krishna Palace. The real India excuse is not valid and is downright offensive. Shame on Thomas Cook for sending their guests to this establishment - I will not be using this company for any holidays or trips in future.

If I could leave no stars I would!! Looks nice from the outside, but that it. Stayed here as someone else did for the trip to Hampi, with Thomas Cook. Paid to upgrade as I knew the 9 hours fro Goa on a train would be a hot one, so wanted some comfort when I arrived, not what we got! The staff are rude!! The rooms are filthy especially the bathrooms, we changed rooms and both were dirty. A fellow guest has their shower fill up, on checking it was clogged up with a mass of hair!! Vile. The restaurant staff were horrid!! They tried to prevent you sitting in there, they then proceeded to ignore us, once the food arrived it was terrible! One lady left, one couple refused to pay! Two of our party of 18 got the trots from here! On swapping rooms our bed had been slept in! They have a warning on the TV to pay their bill, or they will be cut off!!! Absolutely horrible stay here! If you are doing the trip to Hampi ensure you stay at Hampi international we are there the second night, and it was fabulous!

We were a bit out of season so the hotel wasn't very busy. The breakfast buffet was a bit restricted, on the other hand the idlis were wonderful, fresh and fluffy from the kitchen. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was our base for visiting Hampi, which is a few miles away, but we had our own driver. A good place to stay.

The hotel Krishna Palace is not only beautiful place for people to spend there vacation, it is also an exemplary place in terms of its professional staff. I hurt my foot in one of trips, and was sad that the rest of my trip will be shattered by that situation, but the hotel manager volunteered and magically helped me enjoy the rest of my vacation. Mr. Kiran Kumar offered his help and personally guided the massage to my foot that helped and defused pain and I continued enjoying my days in India. I highly recommend this hotel because not only it will provide unforgettable memories but also the staff personally always make sure that their guests are well and happy. Regards, Irada

I happened to visit the hotel for a quick grab yesterday. Hotel seems to be extremely clean and ready to welcome customers. From the beginning, Mr. Kiran been very humble and gentle. After showing me around I was taken to the Restaurant and the manager was very overwhelming. After a few minutes I was given the food menu and I asked him if the chef can make something out of the menu. The manager introduced me to the head chef, I believe His name is Mr. Tapas, and he is the person who made me eat too much. Excellent food and outstanding service I must say. Will surely be back and would recommend others, keep up the good work team Krishna Palace. Cheers.
