i stayed here for one night with my grandparents. as i have to take an early morning train and this place is very near to railway station. i stayed here. they dont have hot water in bathroom at ground floor. you have to ask for hot water which takes 10 to 15 minutes. manager is friendly and nice person. room are not spacious but for budget travelling it's ok. as i have to stay there for only 10 hours i dont find it difficult but for long stay its difficult .

What else could get worse? All the nightmarish qualities of a shabby shed was conspicuously present. At 1000/- a night, during the off-season, one could expect a lot for an accommodation at Haridwar. We were pretty tired after a few long days of trek when we reached Haridwar in the evening, so had to settle for the 1st place our driver took us. We did see the small rooms and dirty walls, but were not in a position to go hunting for a place further. The guy at the reception, possibly the supervisor or the manager, kept on taking personal call while we waited at the desk for about 10 minutes to get the keys. We had to shout to get him acknowledge us and hand over the keys. Then at 2:00 AM in the night, I woke up distressed with rash marks all over my back, bitten by bed-bugs. I called up the reception, and the guy straightaway told me that I would have to wait until morning for a solution. After I went down, met him and argued with him, he opened up the room next to the previous one. Just under the dirty pillow, on the bed sheet, was a chewed up gum. The guy expected me to throw it away and sleep on the bed. Again an argument followed, and we were moved to another room. This room was flooded with the strong light from the streetlights outside. The guy tried to draw the curtains on the window, but they were too thin to make any difference. By that time, we were too tired and accepted whatever was being given, just to have some peace. The bathrooms were small and unclean. No restaurant facilities were available (which if were available would have been best avoided considering that the hygiene factor would have been the same level as we were experiencing). Though there was a geyser, it wasn't working. The AC made more noise than cooling. This place should be best avoided if you want to stay at Haridwar. The only good thing is that it is close to the railway station. But if that should be the criteria to select this hotel, spending the night on the railway station platform would be a better choice and would save you the money.

Compared to other Indian Hotels we liked this one very much. It's cleanliness is ok, the rooms are small but well furnished and we felt save and homy. Don't expect European standard but for an Indian Hotel there's nothing to complain about. Would go there again anytime.

The good things first: The hotel is relatively clean (except for the bed linen) and it is conveniently located (10 min from the railway station). What I didn't like is that they neither provide hot shower nor WiFi. Also the staff was particilarly unfriendly to us. When we arrived at the hotel they looked at us as if we were from another planet and only reluctantly showed us to our room. We asked them for directions to the river but they just waved us away saying they were busy. Also, we asked if we could store some of our luggage while we were waiting for our train and the guy at the reception told us they would only store it if we payed 400 rupies extra. Reading the other reviews about this hotel I was very surprised that the staff was so unfriendly. Maybe they do not like international tourists and are only friendly towards indians.
