What's Good: The Hotel had not received information about my booking at time of checkin and even by checkout. I had tough time in convincing them showing the SMS. Please check the process of informing them in time to avoid a possible non availability of rooms and an unpleasant experience. Luckily the Hotel had rooms and they accommodated

I consider myself a regular visitor to Hyderabad. While I ended up at this hotel by chance, I have stayed there for than that one time. While it is a no-frills hotel, it gives me the comfort I need after a hard day's work. Being located in the heart of city, this hotel is an ideal place to stay for people needing a decent place to spend their nights with best possible sleep quality at the provided cost.

The Hotel is within 5 mins walking distance from Kachiguda railway station. Ideal place to stay for people travelling on Budget. The rooms are good and hotel staff is very helpful. Only drawback is that there is no restaurant, but they can get you food from the restaurants outside the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to Hyderabad as it was a stone's throw away from the Kachiguda railway station. When the price for a double room was quoted as Rs.1050/-, we were shocked as it was off season. But the booking clerk said that they would reduce it by Rs.50/- per day. We relented. The room was decent, with an attached, tiny toilet-cum-bathroom. There was no geyser. We were informed that they have a centralized boiler system to provide hot water. When we informed them that we weren't getting hot water for bathing, from the tap, we were coolly informed that we would have to start the tap, pour two buckets of water down the drain and then get the hot water. Even after pouring several buckets down the drain, (appalled at the prospect of wasting so much of this precious resource!) we didn't get any hot water. We hence took bath with cold water on all three days of our stay there. We used to take our room keys along with us whenever we left the room for sight-seeing. On the second day of our stay, after returning at around 9 p.m., we were shocked to see that someone had entered our room with a spare key, as the bathroom's door was ajar, the fan was whirling at full speed and the water-jug had been placed differently and the glasses had been placed upside down. Besides, the only plug point for charging; which hadn't been functioning earlier, was now functioning! On questioning the receptionist-cum-booking clerk, he informed us that the house-keeping staff had entered our room for cleaning. We pointed out that they should've informed us and asked for our permission before-hand, as they had my mobile number. He said that it was the standard practice of all hotels! We told him that even the technician had walked into our room in our absence, which meant that there were several unauthorized persons inside our room in our absence; and we didn't approve of it. I told him that I would mention about this security lapse in my review of the hotel, to which he condescendingly replied, "You may write what you wish". He didn't make any apology. There was a jug with stale water in the room which wasn't changed for the duration of our stay there. We had to fill our bottles from the cooler in the lobby. We even charged our camera cell in the plug point of the lobby for 1 day. There was only lodging facility, hence we had to pay twice the amount for even a cup of tea. We used to order two cups of tea, each costing Rs.10, and would be charged a steep Rs.40/- for room service. The tea was ostensibly procured by them from a nearby eatery. We couldn't keep one window open as it opened on to the corridor. Another window facing the road couldn't be opened due to the incessant traffic's noise, air pollution and a fetid stink! Hence there was lack of proper ventilation. The parking space behind the hotel, meant for cars of the customers, prominently displayed a sign stating that "Vehicles may be parked here at the owner's risk." We would add, "Stay at this hotel at your own risk. No courtesy; and shoddy service. Power and water wasted criminally. No guarantee of safety or privacy!"

This hotel is very near to railway station and my uncle booked me the room there. You can stay here just for fresh up, some time for tv and sleep. Its best to dine out as this area has ample number of restaurants.
