I give 5 stars but would not compare it to a 5-Star hotel.Yet, the apartment is very clean albeit few cosmetic issues and dirt issues that were taken care of immediately. I booked a full 3 bed Apartment for a not so enthusiastic trip. I had to bring my mother to LV Prasad after a bad accident. Srinivas was very helpful in arranging transportation and took care of every step till we reached the apartment personally. I mean literally personally. The staff was very attentive and careful for the main reason of a accident patient staying with them. She just got out of 2 weeks in ICU plus another week in hospital in Vizag. Srinivas was aware of the situation and personally attended our needs to make sure everyone on the staff was on the same page. He did not even ask us for money until after we departed. I could not even send the money for a week due to my mom's situation and not for any other issue. He just gave preference to my needs knowing well in advance my ability to pay. That being said, we got food prepared to our tastes. Because of my mom's condition, he made sure we got what we want at any hour of the day we requested including hot milk etc in thermos available for us 24/7. Cost was not an issue for me but the level of service was simply superb. I am not sure if I am going to get the same level looking at all the mixed reviews but I got it when I needed the most. Everyone from the cooks, to the boys to guys like Srinivas made sure we had a comfortable stay. I would reiterate, this is just an apartment that is kept clean. You would not find the quality of a 5 star room in there but it would just feel like home. I travelled all over the world and spent in places that range from 100 dollars to 1000 dollars a night. So please don't compare it to a hotel but more like airbnb or rental guest house type of accommodating with great service. I sincerely hope these guys still have the same quality as I am sending my in laws shortly. This review was for a 6 day stay back in 2017.

We traveled to Hyderabad for a weekend stay and shopping and were initially looking to book a star hotel (which we usually do) for this period. However, we decided to do something different and opted to stay in a serviced apartment instead. In this process, we scourged a few travel websites and came across Skyla Service Apartments which had some of the best reviews across all those platforms. We booked two rooms at their Banjara Hills, Road No. 10 property which is located not so far away from the City Centre shopping mall. Booking experience was extremely smooth. Mr. Sajal Chowdhury with the reservations department was very professional and courteous in his approach. True to the word, Skyla stay turned out to be a memorable one and probably one of our best stays ever in Hyderabad. The four storeyed apartment premises and the flat in which we stayed were well maintained. There is ample parking space in the cellar with round the clock security. All staff members were very courteous and always willing to help. Need to mention Mr. Arun's name as he made sure we had a very comfortable stay. This place was just like a home and all of my family members were very happy to have stayed here. So if you are thinking of booking a serviced apartment in Hyderabad, Skyla is the place as it ticks all the boxes. Well done guys! Keep up the good work.

I travelled to Hyd with my family which 1 2 kids.. one is a small baby. I had stayed there for 3 days and I have to say I am disappointed. Before getting there i had told them that i need a kitchen with basic amenities. There was nothing when i arrived and they it up later.. I there was a smellinthe kitchen like it was never used. Imagine cooking for babies in such a kitchen. Service was also bad. There was only one boy and he was never around. Had to call reception for everything. They did not go out of way for us for anything be it food, service or maintenance. Bathroom was bad and not neat at all.bed was ok.

Like in the past, I will rate on a scale of 5 for various dimensions. Part of my stay was in the Banjara hills and the larger part of my stay at the Jubilee hilss. For Banjara hills my rating for the rooms will be 3 on a scale of 5, service will be 1 on a scale of 5 and location will be 4 on a scale of 5. The 1-Bedder studio at Banjara hills did not have a dining table and the kitchenette was too small to be of any use. Since, I spent only 2 nights at the Banjara hills property and the remaining nights at the Jubilee hills property, so most of my review below will pertain to the Jubilee hills property. Following is my rating : Reservation Process : 5 out of 5 [All of my queries were promptly answered and the gentleman with whom I was interacting with - Mr. Srinivas patiently answered my queries] Room Quality at Jubilee Hills : 4 out of 5 [I had booked 1BHK studio for a few initial nights and the 2BHK for the rest of my 3 week stay. I was left quite disappointed by the 2BHK as I had no access to the Kitchen. So essentially it turned out to be a 2BH with no "K" even though I was promised that I will have access to the shared kitchen. What I observed was that we got 2 executive rooms with a common drawing dining area for our exclusive use and an exclusive large balcony. The layout in itself was good. However, given the fact that Kitchen was a necessity for me as I was in the city for medical reasons, the absence of Kitchen left me greatly disappointed. The rest of the promises that were made at the time of the reservation like the washing machine was fulfilled. Few other positives were the presence of full fledged refrigerator, 20L water container for drinking] Location of the property at Jubilee Hills : 5 out of 5 [At the crossing of the road of number 10 and road number 36. Near H&M and Pedamma Gudi ] Food quality and potion : 5 out of 5 [Dining options are reasonably priced and potion quantities are also great. Breakfast for each day is fixed but weekly assortment of the breakfast is good - so some days you have Poha, other days you have dosa and some other days you have aloo paratha etc. So primarily Indian menu. One would need to ask for western breakfast at the time for reservation. ] Service standards : 1 out of 5. [This is one area where I had serious concerns with the team and the caretakers. I will be doing an injustice to Marriotts and Hiltons if I were to give a rating of even 3 to Skyla. While, I must say that team members Imran and Asha were extremely helpful, polite and had the best of the intentions to help out the aggrieved customer like me. However, I was extremely disappointed by the service of the caretakers and the bunch of accompanying boys - all of whom were inadequately trained and illiterate guys from Odisha, at the property. There were instances when their responses really tested my patience - examples like asking for an extra soap on one of the days - I received a response "sir aapko kal soap diya thaa naa..hum ek room mein ek din mein ek e soap dete hain" translated to "Sir - didn't we give you a soap yesterday..we only give one soap in a day to a room and will not give out any additional soap". In my 15 years of stay across the world in different Novotels/Hiltons/Marriotts - I never came across such an instance. Example like asking for bread-omlette instead of the typical dosa or a poha in the breakfast - the standard reply will be "Sir..we donot have bread or we have shortage of bread". Examples like - "Sir after 1.00PM we cannot come for room cleaning"... examples for such bad service abound. If you call Mr. Sinivas for any of the service related issue - he would pretend to be annoyed and will pretend to be an extremely busy person looking after reservations and for service related issue - I must contact only and only Mr Imran or Mr Murali. My message to Mr. Srinivas would be that if a customer is unhappy and is calling you for an issue - it is because he or she has trust in you and not because he or she has the intent to disturb you ; it is your duty to route the request to the concerned team member in your team. As customers when we pay - we are paying for three things (1) The room quality (2) Amenities and (3) Service. In this case the service is altogether missing. At the same time, I must say that interventions and helpful outreach by Mr. Imran and Ms Asha on certain occasions did leave a positive impression on me about these two individuals ] Overall rating : 3 out of 5.
