What's Good: Overall acceptable, but more could be updated.
What needs to improve : already informed
Reason For Rating : room size for three was small, since pre booking 3 persons in one room was asked for. taj people or yatra could have provided a bigger room. breakfast variety except two or three changed per day, all items were repeated for all three times. live counters should be added.

What's Good: Decor at the main reception

Reason For Rating : I have booked a superior room with a king size bed at Taj Banjara, Hyderabad. To start with the rooms look so under maintained. I was given a room on the 5th floor (502). As soon as we got off from the list there was a stench of dampness as the carpets looked very dirty and badly needed a clean or even replaced. Needless to say the room had a damp stench and a double bed. I then complained that I booked a superior room with a kingsize bed although reception continued their version that it was a king size bed. After they realised they shifted me to first floor (103) opposite Bella Vista suite. This was not bad but the room again had a lots of water seepage and we could clearly see the walls bulge. My suggestions are that this hotel does not deserve a 5 star rating and I would recommend further security tips like the use of access/room card to use the lift etc., like they do in Novotel etc., I hope this feedback would help someone else in choosing this hotel.

Even to other Taj branded hotels in town, first time to this one. Great location, spacious grounds, nice lobby and well appointed room. However...dated. the faucets and amenities were worn and showed life. A room service attendant came to drop of some towels but reeked of BO. Felt sorry for him actually. The breakfast spread was good and staff available. Location wise, top notch.

My first business visit to Hyderabad, and first ever stay in Taj Banjara. Overall a very good experience! The hotel location though was quiet far from my office location,but the neighborhood area is very organized. I could get many eateries as well as shopping areas jn the vicinity to hotel.

I stayed at the Taj Banjara for 7 days; my son and his wife stayed for 5 of those 7 days. All three of us were completely blown away by our experience there. The entire staff is outstanding, from top to bottom. Many hotels understand customer service. In my opinion, the current team at the Banjara *defines* customer service. The food and service at the breakfast buffet were exceptional every single day. The Bella Vista suite is outstanding. All we saw all day in ALL our interactions with hotel staff were happy, courteous, welcoming faces. I particularly want to single out the front office team for special praise: Vishruti Chopra, the Front Office Manager, and Yogesh and Nandini, the other two people I had interactions with. Any time we had any small issue or request, they took care of it so graciously. We literally felt we were treated like royalty throughout our stay, and left with a very warm glow in our hearts. I have not stopped raving about our experience to all my friends. And I suspect that will continue for a good long while, any time the subject of travelling in India comes up.

We stayed for ten days at this hotel. Suite 202 is excellent. Staff is fantastic. Food is fabulous. Birthday banquet for grandmother's 87th birthday went smoothly due to the excellent job by the event coordinator, Husna Miskeen. Sr. staff like Venkat, Mallikarjuna and Azaam made my stay homely. Only negative Mark I give is for the exterior of the property. It is next to a swamp. The stench and mosquitoes made it impractical to enjoy the gardens or swimming pool. With Dengu fever in town, this is a serious issue the hotel management must address promptly.
