  • Terriblle HOTEL

    by PMRehman on

Room: is terrible. Old, Dirty and paint peeling off from everywhere especially in Bathroom, walls are dirty (check the pics attached), I really wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody. They say its a five star hotel but in reality its not even 3 star hotel. There is no enough lighting in the room, all the amenities are very old (check the pics attached).AC will newer work, They will provide fans and the room is full of mosquitoes and so much saffocation and sweating inside, No Packed Mineral water bottles instead they will give manually filled water that too in worst condition. Third floor hallway is very spooky even at day times. No charging ports available in the room, had to remove the bed lamp cable to charge my gadgets. Door lock handle is supported by just a single crew (check the pics attached). Bad smell every where. Management: The guy at the reception named Mohammed Hussain and his manager are absolute liers. They are there for only cheating customers. Check-out: It is also a hassle as no one arrives to collect your bags during checkout and the reception says that they sent the boy and as usual no one comes,it seems that they have only one man for the entire hotel to carry the luggage. There are much better options available nearby (Begumpet Road) for e.g Manasarovar The Fern. Had good experience there prior to this one. Guys please stay away from this and save your time and peace of mind and Money

  • "Home away from home"

    by ggayam on

I am not a review writer, but compelled to write one when it touches your heart.. I made "The Manohar" hotel my home away from home for 9 nights on a personal trip to Hyderabad from US. Have a home and several relatives in Hyderabad, but had to stay in a hotel due reasons related to Covid-19 pandemic. Wanted to stay near to home rather than Hi-tech city side. While booking looked at several hotels, some are not operational due to Covid-19 pandemic and some didn't present well online. With the little search I did I ededed up with The Manohar. Been to several countries and several good resorts in the past. I am not comparing The Manohar with the amenities of modern luxury resorts, rather credit goes to the effort they put in to open the hotel and make it operational while the Covid-19 is raging in Hyderabad. I booked standard club rooms and was upgraded to suits with a living room and a bedroom. That made our stay more spacious and comfortable. My heart goes out to the staff at The Manohar hotel putting themselves at risk wile they trying their best to make your stay as comfortable and as pleasurable as possible. I can clearly see their best effort with the little resources available in mid-pandamic. In house restaurants are not fully operational but the staff made extra effort to accommodate and prepare custom-made meals every time with room service. They took extra care to serve me and my parents during our 9 night stay here. Front desk staff are courteous in attending to your requests round the clock. House keeping services might have been great too.. but I refused these services as I do not want anyone to enter my room to minimize my Covid-19 exposure during my stay at the hotel. The hotel staff accommodated my every request. They get a five star rating for their courteous service. Looking forward to staying here again in post Covid era when the hotel is fully operational. I am a small business owner too and I very well comprehend all the challenges the owner / management have to go through stay afloat during this tough time for everyone. I wish them good luck and thank them for the service.

  • Courteous Staff, Ideal Location

    by raja_742001 on

The ambiance, hospitality and courteous staff of Hotel Manohar at Hyderabad made our tour pleasant and a memorable one. The hotel is is located at very nearby to Prakash Nagar Metro Station and famous Paradise Biryani outlet. The rooms are bigger and housekeeping is well. The Bouquet Manager Shrish was always on his toes in dinning hall and taking minute things in notice. At reception Sanyukta Das was very kind and gentle in dealing with guests.

  • Slightly dated hotel, very good staff

    by Ankit J on

I think the Manohar was a very good hotel maybe 20 years ago. Its rooms are spacious (depending on the room you book). The staff and service was exceptional. I felt very much taken care of by the staff. Though the rooms did feel very dated. The lobby and common areas are nice. For this price point, I think it's an decent hotel but felt like it's best days were past it. It needs a serious facelift and renovation to attract higher paying customers. But I would highly commend the staff for their hospitality. The front desk was also very helpful and caring.
