The room was good as earlier but missed two basic amenities , one mineral water and second tea kettle. On request I got the kettle. Breakfast wasn't too good to blab about but eggs omlete puri-bhaji idli+vada and sambar was served . Service was a big issue , each request was to be repeated twice to get. Wifi password was made available after 2 hours after second request. A simple request for replacement of glass had to follow the bureaucract channel as the waiter refused to comply with same and insisted we call reception to send the housekeeping staff to do the needful. I had stayed here earlier and enjoyed their services then , but now it seems they have degraded down.

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of night. They provided us an upgrade to a suite - I believe because part of the hotel in the upper floor was under renovation.. The room was quite old and especially the toilette was wasted by time and not well decorated. The worse is the location. Close by there is a bus station. All day and night long buses, cars, motos and tuk tuk use horn without stopping - literally.

Was here last week for 5 nights.Although the overall review for this hotel was not good,I still thought of giving it a try and booked suite room. The hotel staff is normal, neither friendly nor rude. The location is a very plus point, next to central bus stand and in a busy area, and close to the old city. getting rickshaws and taxis is very much easy with a prepaid rickshaw counter nearby. The room is below average old style one, with centralized AC, which doesnt cool to the extent required. the ceiling was licking due to AC condensation. Fridge was ok. bathroom is good. no toiletry provided, only shampoo and cream. there is no faucet pipe in the toilet.lifts, reception is all good. Food is tasty and nice in their restaurant, and so was the complimentary breakfast, but the prices for dishes are higher and costly i felt. Coudnt use the pool as it was closed for all the days I was in there. Pool timings are 7AM-7PM. bed and sofas has damp smell, but manageable. The hotel staff is old styled and should adjust to the new concepts of hospitality. Over all good, but below average stay.

Situated right next door to the bus station, its a bit louder than most Indian streets. From the courtyard entrance, its a very charming hotel but it is in much need of some modernising. The rooms smelt a little damp and musty. There is a pool which is ok and a fairly pleasant garden with seating to enjoy a bottle of Kingfisher or too. The staff are friendly and helpful though and the food is good.

this was probably a really nice hotel a long time ago, but is now quite dated, and the staff although very friendly, seem completely untrained, or lacking in authority to do anything. It took ages for anything to happen and getting food served at breakfast or dinner was a nightmare. Our bedroom was basic, but location is fine and in the centre of town. We would look for somewhere else if we were to visit Jaipur again but for a couple of nights it was clean and safe.
