What's Good: well-maintained and clean
What needs to improve : Food
Reason For Rating : The Hotel is well-maintained and very clean. The staff is friendly. The food in the restaurant could be improved, even the traditional food is not tasty. However there are enough eating places nearby. The breakfast buffet is good, the lawns and ambience inside the hotel is nice. It is worth it for the price.

This place was suggested to me by my elder brother who had stayed here a few years back with his family. Liked the place instantly as I stepped in. The reception and the check in was okay and the room was fantastic. It was homely yet royal, cozy, warm and good. The food, though I only had breakfast was good. Now the things that can be bettered - they don't allow you room service of dinner and lunches. When you are on a vacation and in case you are unwell (as I was), exceptions should be made...however even on request this was not allowed. When I ordered food from outside, instead of sending it up by some staff member or allowing the person to come (CCTVs are there to monitor if they do something wrong), the guest has to come down to pick he food up. I was on the IIIrd (Top floor) so it was kind of unkind, specially after a hectic working day. Their gesture, during check out, of giving guest pencil with seeds at the end of it is too sweet. The staff (level of bell boys) need improvement as you would not find many to help you with the luggage. IN most ways the property compliments the Padharo Mhare Desh tag line and in some ways not. However I would suggest it to people certainly. Improvement would only add to the goodness of the hotel. All the best

Jaipur is a big, busy, hot city, and Hotel Arya Niwas is a welcome respite. Despite being near most of the historical attractions, the bazaars, and MI Street, it felt like a bubble of comfort and calm. It has been family run for 35 years, and despite enlarging over that time, it still manages to stick to the original aims of providing clean, comfortable, hassle-free accomodation We ate every day in the restaurant, the food was tasty and cheap. They have "samples" laid out for view of each dish on offer so you can know what you are getting, and how many dishes you might want. The portions aren't huge, deliberately so, in order to reduce waste and encourage you to taste a variety of dishes. The staff are super-friendly, and individual tipping is strongly discouraged, so it doesn't feel that they are being nice just for the tips. The air-con and the hot water were reliable. The whole hotel was clean and well mmaintained. If we ever return to Jaipur, we will definitely stay here again.

Our group of 30 stopped by at this hotel for a very short stay and breakfast.Very clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was amazing and the owners took personal care to see that each one of us got hot food served to them. Rooms are well appointed. A vegetarian hotel which reflects traditional values of Rajasthan

We stayed at the hotel with family for a day and had a very pleasant stay. Food was exceptional.. the lawn area is a great place to wind down after a long day. Centrally located with good rooms and facilities. Totally worth every rupee spent. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend the hotel.
