The place's arquitecture is special, rooms are big and some have a little kitchen. There is a nice rooftop with views of the Ganga. The owner is an ayurvedic doctor. In the ground floor they have a small supermarket with lots of quality products.

These people who owns the hotel are biggest liers. They spoiled my friends new years eve while he ended up being on the streets in the freezing cold weather. I had booked a room for my friends on 31st night, they suggested for us to call them when he arrives. I had already informed them that he will arrive by 2pm. He started calling them 1:45 and nobody picked up. He was stranded on the streets as nobody even bothered to open the door of the so called "hotel". The next day when I got there calmly to address the issue, they shamelessly put the entire blame on me and said they didn't receive a single call. Then the lady shamelessly without apologizing started putting the blame on me that nobody came. I had paid them in advance and not that I was asking back for the money, what got me furious was them not owning up. Then this other old guy comes in and starts raising the voice and starts fighting. You really dont want to get into this situation, what's all the more sad is you are homeless even after paying. What you least expect is a small apology! Not recommended AT ALL! Also, they have a basic commodities store which has mostly expired stuff! BE AWARE of such places and people

We had a pretty good room for what we payed here. It was spacious, clean, hot water, quiet, and lots of windows. The whole place is decorated very strangely. There are little weird nooks everywhere with random seats and the color choices are interesting. There is a lovely place up on the roof to sit and contemplate or read a book. The owners were interesting as well... not very talkative or friendly, but not unfriendly either... complacent? the whole place just had a weird vibe to it..

For India standards I am told this place is nice, but I found it very dirty. I went with a group that included the accommodations so I had no choice in the matter and I am not sure what the price was. There was dust everywhere and cobwebs. I wiped down the counters and my cloth was black. The bed sheets weren't changed prior to my arrival, they had shoe prints on them so I asked for new ones and had to change them myself. I was disgusted when I saw how dirty the mattress was and one of the pillows had mildew all over it. Cable worked in some rooms but not mine. The AC and wifi worked well. Every room seemed to be a different configuration and most were spacious. Some had patios but they overlooked the garbage covered hillside. I never used mine. It is centrally located. There is a nice view from the rooftop that overlooks the Ganga. We enjoyed having the yoga room onsite.

By far the best guesthouse we stayed in in India. For 1,000 RS (granted, it was off-season) we got a spacious, quiet room with AC, a large and clean bathroom with hot water, cheerful colors, privacy and lots of natural light. I wanted to stay in Rishikesh for another week simply for the room. The rest of the guesthouse is lovely and quaintly designed. There are several rooftop hangout areas with magnificent sunset views to the Ganges. The guesthouse is located right above a small supermarket stocked with local and western goods. There is no in-house restaurant, but Sheela Mohan is very close to the town center and great restaurants are merely 5 minutes away. Nisha, who works there, is kind, helpful and sweet. Wi-fi signal was weak in the room, but it was honestly a price worth paying for the wonderful room.
