Please avoid this hotel at any cost. It is not worth it. Honestly, staff are rude, specially guys working at the reception, most of the rooms are in terrible condition (read: dirty, broken things), and things seems to go missing here. My friend has left in the room (we stayed there 2 nights) some jewellery (I know - she shouldnt) for the day, and when we got back in the evening, it was gone. The key of the room was with us during the day. We told about this at the reception. They said it was not possible, that somebody would steal anything, as they did not have the room key, and they do not have master key. How odd, but the rooms was 'so-called' cleaned during this day. Anyway, to make this really long story short, the owners attitude (some arrogant lady, who is in some kind of politics business as well) was just horrible. Police was also involved in this incident, but obviously could not do anything, as she is politician. Just avoid this hotel - which is not really a hotel. Horrible staff and more horrible owner.

Great hotel in economy class. Cool and calm ambience. Nice and clean rooms with pool to relax. Good hotel to stay and enjoy time in Jaipur. Good restaurant to enjoy dinner. Centrally located and good price hotel.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff in this charming hotel. It is very colonial with beautiful internal balconies plus a pool. Our room was huge and just like the hotel, very ornate. We loved it, played dominoes with a G & T on the inner balcony and the restaurant was surprisingly busy and good. The bathroom shower etc is very dated with a few leaks but you get by. Would certainly go back if I visited India again.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner. I hope everyone reads this review, take into account the scames of the hotel manager and be very very careful if you want to stay here. Please beware of the hotel manager (slightly plump, sadly I did not take down his name). I always make ample preparations and research before I travel thus I was able to debunk his scams which I will explain in this review. Side note: Before arriving in India, I made clear arrangements and research for the itinerary according to the distance of the places we wanted to visit and the prices of each activity. - "SORRY I MISCALCULATED SCAM": We asked the hotel manager for a driver for 3 days and agreed on a price. However when the bill came on the last day, we were appalled by the fake amount he quoted us. The driver fee became 1000 Rupees more. (At first he quoted 2000 per day but the bill was 2500 per day, I questioned him and he said "Oh sorry I miscalculated") - CAMEL SAFARI SCAM: The Pushkar camel safari that the hotel manager booked for us was 1000 Rupees more (He was silly enough to think that I did not know the prices of the ride and he was very awkward when I questioned him. Once again he said "oh sorry I miscalculated". Also the safari camp looked totally different from what we wanted on the website, we suspect they just brought us to a random makeshift safari. (it was full of rubbish and no sight of any sand dunes as claimed by the web page, fake!) - TOOK OUR MONEY BUT DIDN'T INFORM THE DRIVER ABOUT THE TIMING: The last night we had a long day as our flight was at 0030 midnight so the hotel manager took another 1000 Rupee from us for additional airport transfer. We were fine with the pricing but later found out he did not inform the driver our schedule and the poor driver thought he was ending work at 6pm. Obviously the manager just took the additional money and didn't care about the driver or our schedule. Thankfully the poor driver (who was very very kind) committed to our schedule and we gave him a huge tip because we felt so bad. - We wanted to buy a bottle of wine from the hotel and the hotel manager first quoted us 6500 Rupees and we knew it was a rip off so rejected the offer, he immediately changed his offer to 3000 Rupees. - ADDING OTHER ROOM'S BILL INTO OUR BILL, MAKING OUR BILL X3 TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE: My partner was settling the final bill with the manager and found that the numbers did not tally (2500 Rupees more) so he asked for the breakdown of the bill. That's when he found out there were a few bills (from 2 or more different rooms/guests) added into our bill. He questioned the manager and of course he said "Oh sorry I miscalculated". He then asked my partner for his occupation and he said "Engineer". That's when the manager realized he was messing with the wrong people and he jokingly said "oh no wonder your math is so good". - Hotel's breakfast buffet was a scam too as there were only 3-4 dishes and toast. So in total he tried to scam us of Rupees 4000+ . We do not mind the amount as it wouldn't mean a lot to us after the conversion (probably meant a lot to him if he scammed Rupees 4000x 10 guests) and we understand that sometimes when we travel, we have to accept some allowances for tourist scams because it happens. We were just really disturbed that the hotel would allow such things to happen and by the end of our trip we were so tired of the daily scams of the manager. Either this hotel has no integrity at all or they just hired the wrong person. SO EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY AND STEER CLEAR. You can find a better hotel other than this. PS: - I would say this hotel feels more like a home stay than a hotel.

The hotel is quiet, located in a good area, and gives you an instant feel of being in the land of colours. The staff is very polite. The decor is nicely done, and cleanliness is impeccable. A good stay, and total value for money.
