  • Nice resort, courteous staff but average food

    by gaurav365 on December 3, 2016

Lebua Lodge is a 4 star property in the city of Amer (at outskirts of Jaipur). Drive is reasonable except for last 1 km (where there is no road). Hotel only has 40 tents spread over ~30 acres hence resort provides lots of openness and space. Best time to visit the resort are months of December, January and February (morning are pleasantly warm and sunny though nights are very cold). Good part is that the resort has both cooling and heating facility in the tents, so we enjoyed weather to the fullest. Tents are spacious for a couple or a small family. All tents have a double bed and a small flat sofa that can be used as additional bed for a young child. In terms of comfort tent is no less than a hotel room (room has TV, mini fridge, tea kettle). It was a unique enjoyable experience for us. Bathroom is nice, clean and large (only problem is that one has to take shower standing in the bathtub). Staff count is lean but is helpful. I personally found room service is very prompt and efficient. Best part of the property is the outside view and private garden. Tents are designed in a manner that every tent opens in a garden. We really enjoyed sitting outside our tent (away from any noise or pollution which is a regular feature of every North Indian city). Even though we visited the resort in December, the pool was open and water temperature was comfortable for a quick swim during noon time. Resort's restaurant food was average. As the resort is small (only 40 tents) thus it cannot afford a large food offering. Simple meal for 2 will cost approximately 1500 plus taxes if ordered alacarte and 1100 plus taxes per head for the buffet. Resort has liquor licence and a basic bar, just in case you feel like having a drink. In summary, must visit in winters (only in winters), come in a group as property does not have much activities. Head to Jaipur for sightseeing during the day and come back before dark. Tents are nice, lawns are beautiful, don't expect much from restaurant and do carry your swimming costume and shades for day time and extra pullovers for night.

  • Ideal place to relax!

    by anu16jain on November 22, 2016

Beautiful, quiet, serene, secluded place in midst of nature and Aravali range. Rooms are spacious. Mutton and chicken biryani were good, breakfast spread was a disappointment. Staff was good, though their visitor policy is weird. Overall great experience.

  • Interesting property, beautiful view, poor service, bad food

    by Goldenmoon1806 on November 21, 2016

We visited Lebua Jaipur this weekend, Nov16. The rooms are spacious, airy, beautiful n very interesting. I felt like I was in tent with all luxuries. The bathrooms are royal n have a great tub. The food isn't anything worth talking, except that it's quite overpriced. Service was almost poor. Faulty tv, no toothbrushes, diNing room with not enough seating n absolutely no form of recreation. The pluses- breathtaking view, breeze.

  • Nice Resort but could be much better

    by Aman M on November 21, 2016

It's a nice location easily accessible from Jaipur. Pretty secluded and away from the city noises. Approaching this place late at night could be a challenge though. The property has been nicely conceptualised with independent big size rooms with private sit outs and decent enough place for privacy. We were here for 2 nights all in all the stay was comfortable but it could be a lot better, the missing link to my mind is the non personal service and a general sense of no motivation to please the guests. This is quite a pattern when it comes to Lebua properties in general. The food is above average but again could be better, the ambience is peaceful !

  • Rooms in the last row are more private

    by Aman M on November 21, 2016

  • Ask for privacy, and they provide a room closest to mountain range

by Rajputs on November 9, 2016

  • Depending upon if you want people around or not, you can ask the reservation to give you a room away or closer to pool.
