I am staying at a next door property (Lohagarh Fort Resort) and wanted to try the food at Tree of Life Resort which Im sure is a great place - it looks great and has good reviews. I called them to make a reservation for 3 people at their restaurant - Ashtam - and was told that we will have to order a minimum of Rs 1,500 per person. This was a strange request which Ive never heard before - I asked them if it includes beverages they said no only Food - I said ok. Then they asked me where Im staying and then they told me that the last order is at 10 pm so I should come before that. I said ok I will. 10-15 minutes later I get a call from my own resort saying that Tree of Life called them to tell them to inform me that outside guests are not allowed. This rule is also quite silly as Ive read reviews of the restaurant from people who havent actually stayed there. I then called Tree of Life to clarify and they said no they didnt say outside guests not allowed but they arent taking any outside guests today or tomorrow due to being sold out. I wonder why they didnt know this when I was making the reservation. If you guys made a mistake at the time of reservation then you should have the courtesy to accommodate your guests (guests at restaurants are also your guests) rather than behave in a rude manner of calling my hotel and having them tell me that Tree of Life called to say that they dont take outside guests (which was quite insulting to say the least). Even if it was true (your version) you guys could have had the decency to ask to speak to me since you knew my name and give me the message yourself. Really poor hospitality on your part. Glad I chose Fairmont over Tree of Life for the first part of my stay as they seem to be much nicer people.

Villa was of excellent size, very comfortable and quiet. Just what I needed to get a break away from noisy cities. Breakfast and Dinners were excellent, the special evening dinner menu although limited, chef was always accommodating to make sure there was items my wife could eat as she has allergies to various Indian spice. Everything served was excellent and well presented. Restaurant staff, especially Om was always helpful, friendly and cheerful. My only negative, was really the wifi. For our first night, no wifi would work, it was continually flapping up and down. The hotel resolved mainly by the next evening, however due to an expired certificate on their authentication server, neither of our mobiles could connect. The Gym could do with some upgrades, treadmill was out of service during my stay. There is room to have 2 treadmills. Swimming pool area is nice, pool of decent size. Pool maintenance could be improved, during my stay spending on average 2 hours per day at the pool, for a 4 night stay, I only saw an attendant once cleaning the pool. Quite often there was no clean towels available, I had to request via reception on one occasion. Some of the inflow\outflow pipes could really do with a clean, and some tile scrubbing. Having worked as an attendant\lifeguard, I would expect a 5 star residence to maintain the pool to a higher standard.

The amazing place to stay and you are very close to nature, if you are with family, it is wonderful experience and the courtesy and service of staff it also very good. The swimming pool gym and more over most of the rooms have personal pool and beautiful space for open shower. The winter stay must be enjoyable.

We travelled to Jaipur in September 2018 and picked Tree Of Life, Kookas, which came highly recommended by our friends who had stayed here earlier. The experience was unlike any other we have had thus far and we will definitely be returning here soon. Firstly about the property, the all-villa hotel resort is set amongst serene lush green surroundings, perfectly manicured lawns and a very open and sprawling layout. The villas are large and awesome, ours was one with a private pool, a spa area and an oudoor shower and bath tub/ pool, deck chairs and patio, and this is just outdoors. Inside there was a spacious Drawing/ Lounge area, complete with a bay window sit with a bar area and a small dining area, a large well decorated bedroom with a separate study enclosure, walk in closet and a huge bathroom .. all this adding up to a mere 2500 square feet of space. As ours was a private and romantic getaway, we chose to enjoy the villa to the maximum, even getting specially curated meals served to us in the villa. The Chef would create a special menu each day in consultation with us at the villa. Breakast served was sumptuous and had a wide variety to choose from. A special mention must be made about the presentation of the food, as best as any we have seen anywhere. The high point was a private anniversary dinner served under the stars by the beautiful pool, with strains of lilting music and mood lighting set up poolside. The Resort boasts of an exceptional Spa offering a range of treatments. We opted for the Aravalli Bath which was set up at our villa, an aromatherapy rose petals infused experience under the star-lit sky, sound of rustling leaves and crickets occassionally breaking the silence. Exceptional quality furnishing and fittings and an eye for detail in providing luxury with subtleity and elegance in a traditional Rajasthani setting. A big thumbs up to Team Tree of Life, especially the vision of Himmat Anand, the promoter of this hotel chain, which now has around 7-8 properties across India. Luxury at its best, exemplary hosptality and service, and the experience of a Lifetime. Thanks Tree of Life, Kookas. God bless

We stayed in a villa with private pool for two nights and could not have been happier! The rooms and facilities within the villa were all we could ask for. Beautiful furnishings and well equipped. We enjoyed both our own private pool and the communal infinity pool which we had completely to ourselves. One of the highlights were the staff - in particular the lovely waiters in the restaurant where we ate all our meals, never bothering to take the option to eat in our villa. They were attentive and charming. Our last dinner there was the best meal we've had during a three week trip in India without a doubt. Both their international and Indian dishes were tasty and well presented. The chef even made me puri for dinner one evening despite it being a breakfast bread! The receptionist was also a lovely man who joined us on a farm and school visit and who always had a smile for us. We had a private yoga and meditation session by the infinity pool as the sun was going down, again it was wonderful. This was a luxurious treat for us and was an oasis of peace and tranquility in the chaos of Jaipur. as we had visited Jaipur in the past we were in no rush to leave the resort apart from a quick visit to the stepwell and fort. Thank you to all staff who made our stay so memorable. Great service.
