The location is very good, it is quite close to Nahargharh Fort. We received room with view of the Fort, as requested. The hotel also has a very nicely organized rooftop terrace, with a view of the fort, that is suitable for dining, drinks and chill-out. The rooftop is also suitable for larger crowds. The hotel staff was very hospitable and pleasant. They made very good suggestions of what we should visit in the area, around the city. They were helpful in suggestion good shops and also organized tuk-tuks that we did not need to overpay. The hotel also organized driver to hotel and also for site seeing and for transfer to Agra, at affordable price (lower price than what was requested by other car hire agencies). The driver was very pleasant, he helped us in situations when we were bothered by scammers who charged entrance to temples (the entrance to temples is actually free). The driver also was kind to lend us money on one day, when I forgot my wallet in hotel. The rooms are clean and hot water is available. Food is excellent. What we liked most: Mango Lassi, Lemon tea, Chola Bhatura, Rajastany Thali, Dal Fry, Panner with Vegetables. The neighboring religious facility offers unsolicited wake up call at 5 am on some days. There are a lot of animal smells in the neighborhood, but this was part of the India experience for us. :-)

Hotel was nice and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean, spacious and modern the rooms are. Food was nice, we got room service, the young guy did come up and down with each individual food item about 4 times though so we had to leave our door open whilst eating, dont really know why they cant just have it all ready at the same time to bring but whatever, not a big deal really. The balcony had a lovely view but there was pigeon poo...everywhere! Looked like it hadnt been cleaned for a while. None of this put us off the hotel though, the only thing that did was the pushy staff who we did book to go on a tiger safari through prior to arriving but the cost seemed to go up by almost double what they initially told us, and as any foreigner travelling India will find out, everyone thinks were a walking ATM and it does get rather frustrating after a while, especially when its the staff from a hotel where youre supposed to be getting away from all that! Anyway, cant comment much more on the hotel in general as we barely stayed 24 hours before deciding to leave Jaipur and head to Pushkar. Jaipur is overrated in general to be honest.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and unlike many hotels in this price bracket in India there is a decent amount of hot water. The neighbours are friendly and there is a great view of the fort from the rooftop. Its a bit out of the way, which means less hassle in the street from hawkers.

Although this hotel looks lovely in the brochures, the reality is very different. The rooms felt damp and dull and not very clean. The lights on in the corridor at night are a nuisance as there is a window onto the corridor and the light stopped us sleeping. The pool needs maintenance with damaged tiles and the sun lounger and chairs have definitely seen better days- they should be thrown away. We did not feel welcome at all. Dinner was OK (no buffet, only a la carte) but breakfast not so good. Overall rather tatty and run down.
