Samode Bagh is one of the finest heritage properties I have visited neighboring Delhi. It is 50km before Jaipur while coming from Delhi. The tarmac is very well laid out and one would not have any issues locating the property. The last mile does have some kacha roads but we did manage to reach without scrapping Ciaz's under body. Majorly the rooms are built in the form of tents with ample private outdoor seating. All rooms open to lawns which a wide variety of flora. The tall and dense trees lend a cool shade to the lawns. High rise 'chaarpais' are placed in the lawns which provide the ultimate relaxing experience in the day time. Our room was small and cozy with a king size bed and a separate closet/dressing room. As the name suggests the property boasts of many small, mid-size and large lawns. You will be amazed with the greenery around the place and the shear level of maintenance. They have an open restaurant with open billiards and TT table. A tour of the whole property will easily take you 1.5 hrs. You will not feel the heat due to the lush green surroundings. Indoor activities include swimming pool, badminton, volleyball etc. One can just laze around in the lawns and might spot beautiful peacocks. The property is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and provides a very rejuvenating experience. We stayed for 1 night and had taken dinner and breakfast. Both the meals were delicious, leaving apart the limited options in the dinner. The staff is very courteous, humble and prompt in service. The next morning we were given bicycles and we ventured into the adjoining village. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2hr bicycle ride into the village. Jaipur is a mere 1 hour drive from Samode Bagh, so one can stay at the property and visit Jaipur in the day time. I would certainly recommend the heritage property. A big thumbs up. I would the images do rest of the talking. Travel. Explore. Enrich.

We all 6 couples very happy with our stay this weekend at Samode Bagh..Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating. The tent was clean and cozy. Nothing fancy but all services working from Pool to Jacuzzi . Location is definitely a huge plus, as we were the staff maintained a positive attitude and we were heartend at the consistency in their peformance and willingness to go the extra mile. Food was also good in taste and variety and i must really appreciate the cool and calm helping Attitude of restaurant staff also.. In all ways ... Samode bagh ... We are surely coming back soon ... Thanks for the hospitality extended to us .... Naveen Dugar

I spent 3 lovely relaxing days at this hotel. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and courteous. I had a lovely double room with a great bathroom and little terrace I could sit out and watch the world go by. The gardens are well maintained and very pleasant. The room was spotlessly clean. The restuarant provided a good selection of food (buffet breakfast and al la carte lunch and dinner). I found the food to be extremely good and they were able to offer gluten free. I also visited Samode Village and the Samode Palace which I would also highly recommend. There was a real mix of guests, singles, couples and families, so it appears to cater for large variety of guests. On my last day, they had prepared the hotel (beautifully) for a wedding. Shame I didn't get to see the bride!

First thing that strikes you when you reach there is how green the property is. That's its main strength. However some parts need to be better maintained. The lawns where sports are planned are well manicured but the area around the tents is dull. The tents are fine. They are neither basic nor luxurious. Both food quality and service are decent. We traveled in a group and played outdoor sports till past midnight as the sports lawns are well lit at night. This was the highlight of the stay.

Booked for 2 nights this place. I would like to review my whole experience. There are no signs to guide you where is reception and no one guided us to the reception. Its fairly far and you have to cross various gardens in order to reach to the reception. The first look of this place looks amazing and it takes ur heart away with such greenery. The front office staff was just ok not a warm welcome. Rooms were fairly small at this place. But nicely set up. Place outside the room is good but need bit more greenery as it looks sad.. equipments to play are great they have pool table, table tennis, carrom, chess, badminton, cricket facilities and bicycles to keep kids and adults busy at all times. The F&B staff of chef Devendra is superb. They are highly professional and polite. The food is mouth watery and we ate a lot there just because it taste so good. The most amazing staff were F&B staff which makes the most of my trip The pool is small yet good for kids however the cleanliness of the pool is questionable. Its full of chemicals and not very well maintained. Gym doesnt have good ventilation and needs a lot of maintenance. The worst thing happened to me was with my car. The back wiper was Broken despite of a security guard guarding the place and upon notifying no one was ready to take the responsibility. Its not about the wiper but it creates the question mark over the duty and responsibility of the guards. My over all trip was good however the only best part I would like to remember from this is food and service of the restaurant.
