What's Good: Arrangement of taxi was highly charged and it was beyond the control of management. For example the distance to Railway Station is nearly 2km for which I had to pay 300 bucks.

What's Good: Hi, really a nice stay with my family and good quality food. However, restaurant service is slow, other than that it is really a nice place to stay for in Jaipur and would recommend to stay. No doubt, good value for money. Love to stay again if comes to Jaipur. Two points to improve: One good rajasthani or other indian music to play as the music played in restaurant was too loud and english irritating kind of music. Second, just improve your service speed. Otherwise, all other factors are good. Cheers, CA. Sunil Saini

What's Good: We have experienced some very good time in Umaid Bhawan. We have taken royal suit that was very spacious and very beautiful. There is a lot of common places within hotel that has been beautifully decorated. Roof-top restaurent & bar experience was also great accompanied with folk dances in evening time. Food is expensive but liquor is cheap (which is quite strange). Its crowded with lots of foreigner comprising almost 80% of non-indians. Overall a very good experience...

What's Good: Truly a Heritage Hotel.Exterior is that of a Haveli.Interior of the room has atouch of Rajhasthani culture. Food is generally good.Breakfast Buffet has a combination of Continental & South Indian varieties.Majority Customers appearantly seemed European/Americans.lots of Service lapses are condoned. Restaurant Staff seemed untrained. Many of them seen standing & grinning & giggling all the time during Lunch/Dinner Sessions. Having been used to charge any amount from foreigners, auto rickshaw just outside the Hotel demands in a very unjust manner. Ray 919833714357. Reception Staff - very co-operative.

If you don't like the big chains and think the home stays are too small to cater to your specific needs, try this one. The hotel has a little shop - with reasonable priced items, a small pool and nice rooftop restaurant - with Indian music and dance in the evening. In the morning there is fresh fruit and an egg-bar. We had two nights in a very comfortable room, away from the street noise. The room was well furnished, and there are many places outside the rooms where one can meet or just sit, relax read or eat. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. I would definitively go back to this one next time I'm in the Pink City

Stayed here only for 1 night. Checked in late evening & out early next morning. We were a group of 7 people & had very comfortable & pleasant stay at this Heritage Hotel. Would surely recommend for both family & business travel.

Location is good. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are well equipped and clean and the restaurant is excellent. There is entertainment in the restaurant (dancing etc) and there is a swimming pool, a little cramped but very handy after a hot day in Jaipur

spent one night here during our trip to delhi, agra and Jaipur. we arrived after dark, but we were still impressed by its grand entrance and the extensive mogul/Persian style decoration inside and out! not everyday you get to spend a night in fancy historical building like this! the good: - well maintained grand historical building, absolutely beautiful and classy inside and out! - large and well appointed rooms - nice rooftop restaurant (do not forget your mosquito repellent), great food! - friendly staff the bad: - n/a
