The hotel is wonderful, it is beautifully decorated and ornate, the rooms are spacious and the staff are very helpful and nice. We were both picked up from the train station and dropped off at the station when leaving the hotel - all free of charge. Highly recommended!

NIce Hotel, maintained in ethnic style to large extent. The rooftop view is great. Service and friendliness of staff, specially Gaji himself was great. Only drawback which I found was that the access to hotel can be better.

I need to add a star to the rsting system to adequately express how phenomenal the staff were here. The hotel itself is picturesque, clean, elegantly decorated and fairly well situated. The rooftop restaurant has wonderful views and fairly good food. But it was the welcome and support that I received here that really made it stand out. I arrived already ill and was grateful for a warm welcome with complimentary chai while one of the staff kindly lugged my bag up to my room for me. As I got sicker, the staff could not have been more attentive and kind. Eventually I had to go to a doctor and the hotel tuk tuk driver accompanied me, getting me to the right place and sitting with me. When I nearly collapsed, the doctor referred me to the hospital, where again the driver accompanied me every step of the way, and sat in a room while I lay for about an hour until I was well enough for the drive back. He took me to the pharmacy and dealt with all my prescriptions, making sure that I knew what was what. I had extended my stay from my planned 3 days to 6 as I was too ill to travel and the reception called each morning to see how I was doing and check if I needed any room service. Ali, from the restaurant, kept an eye on me right through my stay and was friendly and sympathetic and made sure I kept eating, per doctors orders! One of the staff even ran out to the market to get me some fresh orange juice as they didnt have any in the restaurant. There are few things worse than getting extremely sick when traveling solo, it meant the world to me to be so well taken care of!

I stayed at this establishment with Family and Friends during December 2017. There were few things which we liked and few things which we didn't. Here are they: Pros: 1. Rooms were neat and clean. 2. Staff was very prompt. 3. Well Decorated hallways and stairs. 4. Tasty sumptuous breakfast. 5. Great Location Cons: 1. Approach Road is very bad. One entrance is very steep and narrow for cars like Innova to enter. The other entrance people have to walk through an open drain and enter. 2. Elevators not present and they have a Rooftop Restaurant. So, if your group has people who need assistance, rooftop restaurant is of no use. Although they serve the breakfast in your room in such scenario. 3. The Geyser and AC is controlled by switches from the Reception. So, every time you need them you have to call the reception and get it done. I understand why they might have done it but there are better ways to tackle that. 4. Room needs a cupboard. All in all it's a great one for bagpackers but for family travellers there are few things which has to be improved and I hope they are willing to do it.
