My stay at Heera Court was fantastic. The room was large, clean, and very well equipped with TV, A/C, a view of the village, a large comfortable searing space on the balcony and the most comfortable bed I've had in three months in India. Did I mention the whole place is made out gorgeous polished stone, making the most peaceful space, in a beautiful village feeling part of the city a quick 10min walk from the hustle and bustle. The owner Jora is the most wonderfully helpful, kind and generous host who makes you feel at home and well cared for.

We were a group of 9 and stayed at Heera Court for 3 nights in Dec 2017. Our first impression on seeing the hotel was that it appeared rather ordinary - and that did not change in the course of the stay. It was season in Jaisalmer and we didnt have much choice to switch hotels. The rooms were very average and basic in amenities - there was no closet to keep clothes, and we were asked to take a table from the corridor to keep our suitcase or clothes. Minimal toiletries were provided (on request) although the bathroom was fairly clean. The hotel does not provide drinking water (i.e RO or any other purified water) and you have to buy mineral water bottles - they are fairly stocked on this!! Most rooms open out to a long corridor which overlooks the street. Since the hotel is outside the city, the view is actually of small shacks and not very pretty. There are mattresses along the corridor to form a seating experience, but most of them were torn and dirty, and not conducive to sit on. They have an in-house eatery (consciously I dont use the word restaurant since that would be incorrect), which is on the terrace in the 3rd Floor. There are no elevators, and the stairs are steep. This is not for the elderly - although they do accommodate room service, only for the elderly!! The food menu is limited, not inexpensive (despite the not-so-great ambience) and nothing impressive in terms of taste. Further, the tables and the floor are not kept clean - maybe they were short on staff to maintain the place. No complaints on the service - where they lack in amenities, they try to make up by offering to help and serve, but that just did not cut with us. This place is one of many hotels in town run by a family of brothers - so many of the staff are from within the family. The manager running the hotel confessed he had not gone any farther than Jodhpur - so, clearly they have no idea of how much the hospitality industry has progressed elsewhere!! Overall, a very ordinary experience at this hotel.

We booked the property directly, before it became an OYO contract property. The rate was high as we're traveling during Christmas. The location of the property is in a underdeveloped area of Jaisalmer (Is Jaisalmer developed?). There is nothing much to expect but the place is nice and tries to provide service as far as possible. The rooms are Jaisalmer like (expect Yellow stone every where) - spacious and maintained well. The linen of one room was little dirty, but they changed it immediately. The staff was extremely helpful and smiling. The rooftop was good and a nice place to relax. Food is OK. There is something more funny out the place, but you need to stay there to find out.

Got an overall package tailor made according to my itinerary by the owner Sunil. Hotel looks and upkeep are very traditional and the staff are courteous. The driver befriended with my son so well that he(my son) still misses him. Touched by the way that the owner himself came down to pick and drop us to Jaisalmer Railway Station in midnight. Overall, a pleasant stay at Heera Court and a mesmerizing tour of Jaisalmer, the Golden City
