I am giving 1* as i dont have option to provide negative feedback. This hotel is strictly avoidable during your visit in jaisalmer. They are listed in goibibo/ makemytrip...but not sure why they are allowing this hotel to continue their business in online portal. During our visit in December 2017, we were 16 people group and booked 6 rooms in this hotel through makemytrip. I called number of time for the confirmation of the rooms and they assured us that our booking is confirmed. But the disaster stared when we came to jaisalmer on a fine morning. After calling the owner ..the great SUPAN KHAN(The person is enough to ruin the good will of entire jaisalmer) picked up the phone and told us that somebody is waiting for us in bus stop. We met SUPAN's friend and he guided us to hotel. But that was not at all a hotel...a small room in a slum. Which he showed us. No name of the property/ nothing. After some hot argument ...we used google map and tracked the hotel. Then the superhero SUPAN KHAN came into picture. He was present in the hotel and told us that the dream hotel is under construction...hence is not able to provide us room(though we checked in the hotels that all the rooms are ok and occupied)...please check some other hotel.. He strictly denied the booking ..even after we showed them the booking voucher. We were really shocked and had no idea about the further action needs to be taken. We lost almost our entire day due to the issue. Thanks to MMT that after a number of calls to their customer care ..they provided a good replacement in other hotel. We came to jaisalmer with lot of expectation (as a bong people ..jaisalmer is memorable to us for SONNAR KELLA)..But this cheat almost ruined our entire plan in jaisalmer. This kind of fraud people should be punished and put behind cell. But as we were outsiders/ time in hand was short ..hence did not lodge a complain to police that day. Please please avoid this hotel and SUPAN KHAN..he will ruin your holiday.

First of all. I am sorry for doing this but I need to so this people will stop. First of all they're all about commission and what they'll get from you - as much as possible. They are vicious. Especially the guy on the business card on the picture. 500 rupees a night with no hot water even though they advertised that there is. Then upon checking in, will pressure you to book a camel safari (I was charged 2000 rupees plus service fees etc). I later saw a 950 rupees at the bazaar nearby. Take note, the camel ride is not over night, just sunset as I requested. Tsk tsk. I know I was stupid to be scammed, that's why I am warning future travelers. This is my nightmare on my India trip.

Arrived late but was bombarded from the start with sales pitch for desert safari. Sleeping in the desert would have been preferable. Room not particularly clean and no running water. Bed very uncomfortable. Had booked for 3 nights but left after one. Enough said.

Hotel Dream Jaisalmer is a very good place to stay. When I left Jodhpur, their man at the bus station arranged for his brother to pick me up for free. He said the room was 150 rupees a night. I didn't expect these rooms to be very good at such a cheap price, and intended to stay at Zostel for 400-500 rupees. I looked around the room out of courtesy for the free rickshaw lift, and then saw they were actually very nice. A big spacious bed, TV, balcony and large clean bathroom. Because of the balcony my room was 200 a night. It is the cheapest and best value room I have had in two months travelling India. The location is ideal too - Jaisalmer Fort is 5 minutes walk away, and the lake is 5 minutes walk too. There is a restaurant on the top floor and plenty of snack shacks nearby. This hotel is the best kept secret in Jaisalmer!
