Built on a beautiful 5100 sq. m plot, Hotel Jaisalgarh is located on the Ramgarh Bypass Road. The hotel is in proximity to the bus stand, railway station and Jaisalmer Airport. Hotel Jaisalgarh has four dome-shaped structures on a square base and is designed like a castle in the sandy terrain, keeping with the tradition of the desert city.
The exterior is designed with large stones cut in rock-face style. The one-of-its-kind jharokhas (carved balconies), sit-in chhatris (pavilion with domes) and jaalis (latticed screens) enhance the beauty of the structure.
Guests can choose to stay either in Deluxe or Super Deluxe rooms decorated with traditional Rajasthani furnishings. Each room is featured with air-conditioner, satellite television, direct-dial telephone, coffee table and cushioned chairs, luggage rack, comfortable double bed, hairdryer and tea/coffee maker, to name a few.
Besides, an attached bath complete with toiletries and supply of hot and cold running water is present in every room. Along with the standard amenities, the Super Deluxe Rooms feature bathtubs. At the in-site restaurant, guests can relish an array of North Indian, Continental, Chinese and authentic Rajasthani specialties.
They can also enjoy food in their rooms through room service, available round-the-clock. For a large group, the hotel can arrange bonfire with folk dance and music performances in the garden, on prior request.
A host of other facilities provided by the hotel are spacious parking lot, doctor-on-call, laundry service and car on hire, among others. Guests can visit attractions around the hotel including the Jaisalmer Fort, Gadisar Lake, Nathmal Haveli, Patwa Haveli, Salem Singh Haveli and Bada Bagh, among others.

We'd heard from a friend about the excellent service and comfortable rooms offered here and the hotel stayed up to its promise during our stay. The hotel has an attractive golden facade typical of Jaisalmer and is well maintained. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel is not premium-few rooms are live able-problem is with isolated location and state of the rest of the rooms- 101-102-103 are the better rooms Second floor is in shambles Food is reasonably good U will be quite far from the city and an auto round trip will cost 250 on average if not more Additionally hotel is not having sufficient staff to cater for full occupancy

Apart. From other places, our families visited Jaisalmer during 15th and 17th March 2017. We stayed in Hotel Jaisalgarh during the said period. From outside, the hotel looks like a fort. Inside rooms are manageable. My. Observations are: 1. The rooms are not cleaned daily 2. WiFi connectivity is available only in the lobby and not in the rooms. 3. Breakfast was not good 4. Hotel is far away from town - about 5 KM's. Nothing is available in the surroundings. Very secluded and we didn't see any life at all except ourselves. No shops/hospita/ etc. 5. I don't recommend the hotel to anyone.

Stayed at this place with family, for 3 nights, Jan 2017. The hotel is situated in a secluded place away from the city but not very far. No eating joints outside the hotel. The building of the hotel, looks like a fort. We were given choice, so we choose the room on first floor. The room was spacious. The double bed had spring mattress, which were not very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was included in the package, north Indian food was served, it was not delicious. Overall the stay was good but food was not upto the mark.
