My stay at Pal Rajah Resort was awesome! I stayed there with my girlfriend and the first thing we noticed was, how silent it is there. A welcome difference to the loud cities. Behind the Resort are some high sand dunes, which are the perfect point to enjoy the magical sunsets and sunrises in the desert! The whole staff is attentive, friendly and really helpful. Nothing to complain about it! In the evening there is some program, including traditional dances and music, which was really entertaining. During a break a Buffet was offered, which tasted really good. Some of the best i ate so far in India. I can highly recommend the Pal Rajah Resort and I would come back anytime!

We are SO glad we decided to stay with Pal Rajah Resort. With many camps touting they are the best, we knew right away when we arrived that we had chosen the best camp. Pal Rajah has their very own private Sand Dune just outside the tents, which was the perfect spot to wake up and watch the sunrise. No other camp we saw had their own dune! We stayed 2 nights. The first night we went on a camel sunset trek which was so relaxing and peaceful. We then were greeted back at camp with traditional Rajasthani musicians and dancers. We got to listen to the traditional music during dinner, and even tried our hand at the local dance. It was SO fun. We highly recommend staying in the luxury tents. It was such a unique experience, hearing the birds in the morning, no cars or anything around us. They were extremely clean and well put together. We didn't even need the fan on at night, and we are AVID aircon users :) The next day we did a Jeep Safari and then we went off on our Camel Safari into the desert for a night under the stars. All experiences were unique and special in their own way. The biggest thing that stood out to us was the staff. On multiple occasions, they called us their family, and we certainly felt like a part of their family while we were there. SO nice, friendly helpful. From what we hear, the Khuri Desert is the best place to stay, as the other Dunes are really popular with tourists in Jaisalmer city so can get a bit crowded. Hope you enjoy your stay! We sure did :)

Pal Rajah Resort & Camel Safari is further out of Jaisalmer into the desert than the other camps which makes the experience something memorable with less people around. We stayed for three days/two nights. On arrival we were greeted by the most amazing staff who really made our stay so pleasant. The first day was spent slowly trekking out by camel in the afternoon to watch the sunset from the dunes then trekking back for a night of local music and dance accommodated by a stunning dinner. We slept in what we would classify as a glamping tent with ensuite which was stunning. I honestly have never slept somewhere with such silence at night it truly puts your mind at ease. Day two we woke to watch a picturesque sunrise, followed by breakfast and a jeep safari through the dunes which was AWESOME! In the evening of the second day we trekked out by camel to watch sunset, then had dinner and camped under the stars in the dunes. It is hard to sleep when the sky is lit up with the most amazing array of stars. We both saw several shooting stars before catching some sleep and awaking to the sun rising on the horizon in front of camp. We then trekked by camel back to camp, freshened up and had another delicious breakfast. This is truly an experience that is worth the value. We found it challenging picking the correct company to go with however we definitely picked right with Pal Rajah Resort. All the staff really go out of their way to make your stay something special and what we really liked is that all the staff are from the local communities! We hope to be back in the future!!

Paj Rajah is slightly off the beaten track but this was nice because we didnt see many other tourists. We had a sunset camel ride to the sand dunes with Peter and he was awesome (and so were the dunes)! The food was great, the musicians and dancers in the evening were sooooo good, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. I loved the tent that we stayed in, I felt very fancy - like I was glamping in the desert! Was the best nights sleep weve had in ages. We loved the experience :)
