Booking was smooth...prompt response. And we found everything starting from camel safari to snacks to musical night to dinner to breakfast as promised by authority. All staff are genuinely good and always ready to serve....fantastic

We reached the desert camp and headed for the camel safari on the sand dunes which was a fun ride and mesmerising sunset view...while the tent accommodation initially looked enchanting and the hospitality very warm we had dinner post which we were informed that the electricity would not be available and that they would put up the beds outside the tent accomodation which was a scary freight..... Since we were the only couple ... No efforts were taken by the camp people to use the generator and we had no choice but to search an alternative accommodation.... Food was average... cultural programme dancers musicians did a good job of entertaining....

There are so many desert camps around Jaisalmer! It took us a while to pick one and somehow I missed this one until reading a newspaper article listing their top camps around the area. The camp arranged transfer to and from our hotel. The bathroom was excellent with hot running water. There was a great big fan which made the tent comfortable in September heat. We visited at the end of September which is not yet the season high for desert camps (it generally starts October 1st). We were a bit worried we would be alone at the camp, which means the entertainment, food and service would be kept to a minimum. We were pleasantly surprised to see about 15 guests at the camp and no shortage on the experience. Food was great and varied (with some non-spicy version for my daughter). The entertainment lasted a full 90 minutes and was quite enjoyable. We had asked for two camels for the ride since we did not want to subject a camel to 260 lbs of weight. Only one appeared for us but management brought another within 5 minutes upon request. The ride lasted about 45 min and we loved it. Another family had one member backing out of the camel ride yet management provided a heed to accompany the group so she could be with her family at sunset. Overall, we had a terrific stay. The only reason I did not give it a 4 star is due to the booking experience. I filled out the contact form, but this was never received by the camp. Instead I started again with the email address. We originally wanted to have the touristic experience at the camp plus a non-touristic night in the open desert. The first night info came back promptly but the second night details were sparse, difficult to settle and the emails took a few days (up to a week) for a response. We finally decide to stick with the touristic option and drop the second night out in the desert. Communication and its promptness could be improved.
