This was literally one of the best experience of our trip. The staff are absolutely lovely! They offered us a range of rooms at no extra cost. We choose a Swiss tent, lovely and clean. There is hot water just ask and the staff will turn it on. We took a day package camel Safari, we went with Balsingh into the desert met his family and visited his village, we choose to buy the kids sweets at their local shop and we gave them out around the village (totally recommend it). Balsingh made an amazing meal in the middle of the desert on a wood fire, the sand dune were stunning the wildlife was great. Do it!! The entertainment at the hotel was great, the young boys were especially super talented. An all round great experience.

There are just too many options for tent stay in Jaisalmer and Sam dunes being the more popular choice. I chose Khuri since it was less popular, meaning less people and more wilderness. It delivers! Loved the place. Lot of deer spotting during the safari, peacocks flock outside your tents early in the morning and overall a blissful stay in the middle of nowhere. Coming to the, for the want of a better word, hotel. They have a wonderful place. There are no other tents nearby which is good. The tents themselves are space but comfortable. Please keep your expectations low. There is only so much that can be offered in the desert. The food was amazing. We were travelling with a 10 month baby and they met all our needs. The entertainment is okay, nothing spectacular. Now to the people and the hospitality. Just brilliant. All needs met to our delight. The waiters and staff happy to meet the smallest of our demands within their constraints. We went for the jeep and the camel safari. Both are good, vendors are good. Also there are one man tents where you can spend the night, literally in the middle of desert with nothing around you for miles.

This place is located in the upcoming area for desert safari, in Khuri, which is about 49 km from Jaisalmer. The best part of the location is that it is as yet unspoilt by the crowds. The Tents are beautiful and spacious and can be chained up totally which is important since it prevents the entry of the cold night air. The bathrooms are huge and hot piped water is also available. The package takes care of every need of a guest. The owners take special care to ensure that the guests whatever they demand, be it tea, coffee or water, and they won't charge you extra for it. This is the best aspect of this property. The foods they serve are excellent and the cultural programme in the evening is hugely entertaining. The girl who dances is an absolute marvel and has amazing skills. We took a late night stroll in the desert under the full moon, and it was a mystical experience. The camel ride was good too. But what took the cake was the Jeep Ride that we took (extra cost) in the morning for a sunrise trip and village tour. The driver, named Hukam Singh would give goose-bumps to even Michael Schumacher. His swerving of the jeep amidst the soft sands was nothing short of magical. He even kept us under suspension on the slopes of a dune (at an angle of nearly 70 degrees to the horizontal), much like a nail hangs out of the wall. We were thrilled and scared to death at the same time. A drive with Hukam Singh is a must-do for every tourist visiting this place.

Really well organised safari tour. A lot of activities (camel riding, jeep safari, music, dancing, singing, village tour) covered. Very accommodating staff who endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Would recommend - you get what you pay for.
