The setup is good , well decorated with common sit outs. The tents are average in terms of cleanliness n decoration. Ours had a torn curtain and stained walls ( not as royal as they show in their pictures) The zip of the tent door wasn't working and they tried but couldn't repair so felt insecure throughout our one day/night stay . There was a stray dog in the premises and he dug out trash from common dustbins kept outside for food making our path dirty. The restaurant staff was courteous and food/service was good. Mr. Tej Singh through whom we booked this place was very helpful guided us well to plan our stay and sight seeing. Ride to the dunes (1km) far at the backside of the camp was good experience. Khuri being lesser known places for sand dunes was less crowded which id what we wanted hence avoided stay at Sam. So we got experience as we wanted at the dunes even though it is really a very small stretch but was clean n had undisturbed sand waves perfect for photography. They offered dune bashing but we didn't opt for it didn't seem like worth the money. 850 pp or 3k for private keep for 6-7 min ride. Cultural programme at dinner time was very good, very good deserving artists performed and made us dance on their folk tunes. Being year-end we ended up paying high rates for this place and had a feeling that 'tent experience' part of it wasn't that great and would not ever go for it or recommend to anyone to go for at this price.

I visited the Jaisalmer in dec last week 2018, visited in both Sam and khuri dunes and camps but if you want to enjoy camel ride or jeep safari then Khuri is the best place to stay because of very less rush in khuri. In Sam camel ride is of 10 minutes and in khuri it is of 40 minutes. About camps garh marwar has also much much better than camps in SAM. You really enjoy the evening cultural program of garh marwar. Food and amenities are also good here. Staff is very nice and cooperative. I suggest to stay in garh marwar if you want to stay in camps in Jaisalmer.

Visited during nov.18 diwali vacation..the price taken was unnecessary high as the tents are nt that luxurious..breakfast was good.dinner was average...outside sitting is a good thing to chill out at night..wildlife safari was non sense as the driver just showed deer which we had already seen while travelling from city to the sand dunes..camel safari and jeep safari are awesome..hot water in taps was an issue but the staff was courteous enough to bring hot water in buckets.. Overall good place but make sure you dnt pay high price more than 5k

The Garah marwar resort is a perfect place to stay and enjoying desert experience. Hospitality is excellent. Food is also tasty. All the facilities available in spacious and clean tent. Room service is very good. Outside of tent, small tent for refreshments was excellent. Sandunens are very closed to the resort so you can enjoy sunset as well as sunrise by walking or by camel riding. Entertainment programmes given by folk artist of rajsthan was very entertaining. We stayed for two days but I think one day staying is enough. You can do jeep safari, camel riding, camel cart dessert safari by advance booking. Jeep safari was very thrilling and full of excitement . Overall v.good experience in Garh marwar resort. Value for money.

Very good experience. If you are tourist, this place will show you real rajasthan. No activity during day time - so use that time to see jaisalmer city , and second half of the day come here. Good food- performance by local artists. amazing host. We had camel ride, camel cart ride, thrilling zip ride ( not for heart patients :) ) .. next day morning on jeep we had a look in nearby villages. Good quality of tents - bathrooms, clean bed sheets....Went with my family including my 3 year old daughter, my in laws and my parents .. everyone had a great time. If you are non vegetarian - don't miss laal maansh dish in there. Among negative - check price of laal maansh before ordering :) .
