Hidden jewel in the Dooars
by Sandeep R on
With its own tea estates on one side & the mighty Teesta on the other, Saraswatipur Tea Resort is a hidden jewel in the Dooars. Located in Gajaldoba - a paradise for birders, this boutique property is extremely well maintained. The staff is wonderful & they pull out all stops to make your stay comfortable. You can request them whatever cuisine or dish you wish to have & they toss up some wonderful food. The Manager of the resort was super efficient & I guess its because of him that the service is excellent. The property has bicycles you can use to ride down to the banks of the Teesta or ride through its tea estates. A trip to the tea factory was also arranged by the staff. Id love to visit again.

Had stayed here with my family during last week of Dec 2019. Excellent place and hospitality. You can read more details and check videos on my blog (Suvarghya's World), I had put up all details there.

We stayed there last weekend...it is a beautiful resort in a nice location....Rooms are good and all the staffs are very friendly and supportive....Food was delicious....The lawn in front has a sitting arrangement to have chat with others...it also has a small swimming pool(not working at that time because water filter was not working) in which you can relax We also took cycle on rent from the resort...One can have a short drive to see jungle and river ..If lucky can spot wild animals....
