  • Excellent resort with in a village

    by atisb on

Unluckily we didnt expect it to be very good. So we planned for one night stay. But the place is so good that we repent a lot for not staying more nights. The area is extremely natural with lots of facilities, ranging from swimming pool to board games to library, etc. the food is tasty. The staffs are very helpful. We enjoyed a lot there.

  • Riverwood Resort

    by Mazoomder on

It was a awesome stay at the resort, staffs in all level was too good, housekeeping and food chef and the managers deserve full credit. One can visit all the nearby forests with ease but little more travel time.Jayanti river and nearby places are excellent. Natural beauty is unique. Food is excellent except breakfast which could have been little better keeping in mind with the standards Waxpol resorts maintain all around. Fishing activity within the resort and get together during evening around a bonfire and music cum dance require special appreciation.

  • Living in the lap of Nature

    by Tour776154 on

When we decided to visit Gorumara, we selected Riverwood Forest Retreat as we had read about the resort. The entire Resort is surrounded by both flowering and fruit trees so that one can enjoy the bounty of nature at all times. Besides, these trees attract different birds so if you are a keen bird watcher, this will be another attraction for you. From the Resort you can see Murti River flowing by and sometimes you can see elephants as well. A well equipped restaurant serving a variety of cuisine, a Gym for those who do not want to miss their daily dose of exercise and a well stocked Hornbill Bar are added attraction.

  • Excellent Stay and Hospitality

Very Good location, Amenities, Staff and Especially Food. Quantity will suffice for 2 persons. Had a Great Time and throughly enjoyed my stay...Food was tasty and served on time. The Resort is very clean and cleanliness was maintained through out. The staff were polite and very helpful. The service standard was spot on even when it was raining heavily. Rooms are big and spacious. 3 adults can stay easily with an add on bed.

  • Great place to relax

    by Kunal015 on

I visited this place while coming back from Zuluk. Compared to the facilities in Zuluk this place felt like heaven. Rooms are very spacious and the property is well maintained. Food is a bit costly though. Clean swimming pool, pool table and a library with books on wildlife can make this place a great destination. Only problem is that wi-fi is available is at the reception area and Vodafone connection from my room was awful.

  • The room has all the facilities and spacious enough for at least two persons. Coffee, tea and biscuits are there besides clean linen.

  • Best to take the rooms near the restaurant in case you are travelling with elderly members of your family.
