What's Good: View
What needs to improve : I liked most of stuff
Reason For Rating : It was k. But if you ask me to make any changes. What I felt is mattress was little hard. And floor on ground is little ripped.

What's Good: The overall experience was great. The location and place is quite lovely. The staff is very helpful, specially Kunal at the front desk and Mr. Kaul in the restaurant. The food was great!
What needs to improve : 2 things that require immediate attention First the common areas were stagnant with lack of fresh air and no air conditioning. Walking out of the room or walking into the corridor from outside left you gasping for freshness. Second, the breakfast could have been better.

What's Good: I did not like the rooms at all. Seemed liked we were being dumped in one end of the place. Being a palace hotel we were expecting something better. There was no network at all in those rooms. the room was not up to the mark of a " Palace hotel room" The only saving grace was the In room dining food. the food is excellent. Would not like to stay again at this hotel

While you will have to pay as per a five star hotel, the service and quality of food at Hari Niwas Palace in Jammu is worst and deteriorating by the day. While it takes more than a half hour even to serve a normal non-vegetarian dish, lack of seriousness is also clearly visible in preparation and service. It could be seen in picture that the straw and the glass are almost of same length that doesnt allow a person to consume any drink properly. The straw was defected and could not be elongated. When asked for a new straw, the waiter told that they dont have longer straws. Such is the condition os one of the best restaurants of Jammu. However you have to bear the cost of a five star hotel with the service worst that a roadside Dhaba. I strongly recommend not to visit restaurant at Hari Palace, Jammu.

Hotel is well located on a hill top and you have a good view of River Tawi. The garden is well kept. The flowers are a site to watch. the ambience is good. The Rooms are big with big beds and clean upholstery. Service is good and response is quick. The hotel serves a variety of food and has nice restaurants.Rooms on first floor have nice balconies.

Fantastic experience and fine dining available at the restaurant. Beware the spicy Rogan Josh.... you will cry.. Plenty of choice in the restaurant and not only Indian fare. The walls are decorated with antiquities and the service is excellent.

This property is probably one of the finest places in Jammu in terms of its location . Being just away from the city on the bank of river tawi on one side and Tripura hill on the other side makes the sunrise and sunset view ever mesmerising this was the royal palace of maharaja Hari Singh . But guys dont get too excited thats the only best part here the property on the first look makes you feel like wow however thats just a feeling which leaves you with every minute you stay there. The property is a heritage property with nothing left of it or I would say maintained pathetically. The rooms seem to be of any ordinary 2 star hotel with all the amenities of a basic hotel nothing more than that nothing heritage about it. Rooms are not at all maintained , the staff is like a typical government guest house with limited or no customer delight in mind. This place has a real potential to be a prime or I would say go to place however for that it needs a revamp in terms of staff ,maintenance , management as well as services. The food was pathetic both breakfast ( complementary) as well as Ala carter and literally I had to either order or visit a restaurant to have my daily meals. Last but not the least if you are planning a stay during a marriage season the you better keep In mind that you will be forced to listen to endless chores of DJ every day and night hampering your peace and stay as there is no respite during that time and trust me you cannot avoid it. I hope this reviews travels to the management and they take some positive out of the same and surprise me in future .

An ultimate place to stay, they have good large open space to offer.big large rooms make stay cool.Location of hotel is such that you can appreciate beauty of nature for a long time. Go for valley side rooms, those offer a good view. Balconies of the rooms are interconnected so expect a lil disturbance as one can expect in corridors. Don't miss dinner an ultimate view of Vaishno Devi track glittering with lights can be seen. Breakfast offer by them is not so good so better escape and have it at other places. You can also watch meuseum, which boast of a history of Raja Hair Singh.
