The first room they gave us 102 was right next door to the entrance the noise was deafening! The shower was in front of the toilet in a type of wet room style. After composing they moved us to room 205. The toilet Custers only filled with water when you turned the sink taos in. No hot water. The electricity kept going off. To get to the bed you had to climb really steep steps and then once inthis part there were two large openings which you could fall down to the floor below if you were not careful. The buffet evening meal was terrible the chicken was totally inedible. Breakfast next morning did have fresh pineapple and paw paw. The hotel has nice paintings but is freezing cold in winter due to the courtyard layout. One to avoid

The place is really beautiful, even though it could be cleaner. We didnt get hot water but it was not a big deal. The rooms were very nice, take the 206 or 208 to have a very beautiful duplex. We had diner for one evening, good but quite expensive. The staff is always available to help. Hotel in the center of the old city. I recommend it.

Stayed here from r 1 night during our tour of Rajasthan. This Haveli has been beautifully restored and a wonderful place to stay. Our room was magnificent and a real step back in time. Food here is okay and breakfast is plain and simple but it was sufficient. Staff were amazingly friendly as has been the case throughout our trip. WiFi is fairly poor but hey, that wasnt an issue at all. All in all a wonderful place to stay. Would we stay here again 100% yes

(Official Rating 3 Star) - The Haveli Resort isnt actually a resort of any sort, its a restored Haveli (of which there are many in Nawalhargh) but its just an experience to stay in one. For information: A Haveli is an ex-traders Indian mansion house on the ancient silk route, most of which have been abandoned. This one has been authentically and sympathetically restored so forget TV or wi-fi, the staff are excellent and attentive, the rooms have en-suite bathroom and some a sitting room. The high ceilings and moody lightIng and the early awakening with song, mooing, cooing and general bustle made us feel in real India. If you want Western posh find a Hyatt/Marriott if you want Indian posh go to this hotel. The Indian vegetarian food was stunning (try the saffron dishes) and are a must have. Breakfast - same old. Dont get put off by the location, if you take a walk around the streets and acknowledge the locals theyll be as friendly as you are - dusty and at heel - about as Indian as it gets. Thats why it gets five stars. Unforgettable.

This heritage hotel is located inside an Haveli. The structure is very peculiar and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are confortable. The personnell is very kind and the food (they serve the tipical indian one) is very good. Don't miss the Shiva temple just outside the hotel.
