Our return journey from Jaisalmer was via NH11 (via Bikaner highway), with an overnight stay at Barsingha Villa at Bap Phalodi village, which is 199 km from Jaisalmer on NH11. Good place to stay for a night if you wish to explore a Rajasthani village life, a bird century around 30km away from the village and another sand dunes which I believe are exotic. Though we couldn't go to these sand dunes due to time constraints. Bap Phalodi village to Jaipur distance (394 kms) via NH11 & NH52 was covered in 6 hours due to amazingly smooth & silky roads. Infact, remarkable infrastructure and carpet roads right from Jaipur to Jaisalmer via either of the highways and within Jaisalmer district was an eye-opener. This indeed was one of the most memorable experience for all of us.

Well i was traveling with few of my guests from France in month of may 2017. We reached Barsingha villa around lunch time and did checkin formalities. Few moments later we found that the owner of this property was badly drunk and misbehaved with us, within an hour we left hotel and lodged to other lieu.So this is not at all recommended.

I am a frequent traveler and normally read the reviews of each hotel well before I book it. unfortunately I was in for a nasty surprise with this booking. Upfront I paid for 2 nights including food based on the reviews and when I reached the location I found that it is more than 160 kms away from Jodhpur. The mistake is with GOIBIBO SEARCH WHICH showed this hotel in Jodhpur. Though this would not have been a big factor for a bad review, what shocked me was that the place is on a deserted road at the back of the petrol pump. I have traveled extensively in Rajashtan and have been greeted with not a speck of dust in most of the hotels I checked in, apart from the desert camps, but this place took the price, in the peak season they had layers of dust on almost every visible surface. The pool had dead leaves and dust floating. The hotel believes in an open bathroom policy! they have bathrooms with huge window facing the bedroom with no curtains and the bathrooms door has only a single curtain, giving an unrestricted view of the person in the bathroom to any one in the room. I was shocked and was then asked to choose another room on the top floor which was equally dust infested musty smelling. The location gave me creeps and didnt look at all safe from a family point of view. We tried to Reason with the owner to refund at least the food bills and one night stay as we didst check in at all but the owner told us point blank that since we were bored with the desert that is the reason we were refusing to stay at the place. We were on a 10 day trip to Rajasthan and this was just our second stop and though we absolutely loved the desert cities but the overall attitude and the hotel left a very bad taste. I would never recommend any one with Family to book this place and in case you would like to disrespected by the hotel owner you can try this hotel for sure, otherwise give it a miss.

We had took break for Lunch at this Hotel in Bap ,Near Phalodi. It took more than 2.3 hours for them to serve us mini meal. Food was decent but needs lot of attention and care. Staff had no uniform to wear.
