Characterful haveli and great staff
by 258natasham on
Great location, only 10 minute walk to Mehrangarh fort and under 5 minutes to the stepwell. The rooms are characterful, clean and there was hot water. The staff made this an excellent stay, making us feel welcome and relaxed. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the restaurant on the roof of the fort is beautiful. The chap who helped at breakfast/ around the haveli, I think his name was Yani, deserves a shout out as he helped us with directions, interesting chats about life in Jodhpur and recommendations on where to visit. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The Best 'Haveli' in Rajasthan

All their staff especially Mr Bablu was very friendly and helpful. Instead of staying there for 1 night, we decided to extend for another 2 nights. This shows how good they are. Their service was the best. Even their restaurant, Indigo is truly excellent.
Beautiful Haveli (Mansion) with forest view and good restaurant

Beautiful Haveli (Mansion) with a nice decoration, amazing doors and perfect service. We came here by chance and had the best time. The manager is extremely helpful, the rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated. The rooftop has an amazing view of all the city and front view to the fort. They have a restaurant (indigo restaurant, you can check the reviews) which is very very good and is worth coming just to eat here. Overall is good price and value for the money. I totally recomme to stay here

A characterful Haveli with comfortable clean rooms. Hot water. A good restaurant,Indigo, on its roof. Stunning views of the fort. The breakfast if included is ok. The location is perfect for the fort. All in all a good choice budget hotel. We would use it again.
A riot of colours!

We had the best food in Jodhpur at Gouri Haveli's Indigo restaurant. The property is absolutely stunning. We went in the mid of winters and the rooms could do with a heater, or some sort of insulating in place, but the hospitality of the staff and the overall charm of the place supersedes everything else. We ate laal maas at three different places in Jodhpur(including 5 hotel luxury restaurants) but Indigo's was the absolute best. :)
1km from main station, in the heart of an up and coming area of Jhodpur, lots of good restaurants, coffee bars, very close to fort

Some rooms have dangerous corridors and steps with no railings to prevent a sheer drop

If you're going with an elderly, book the ground floor rooms because the stairs are steep

If you are young people, traveling on public transport, or two wheeler, this is the place to stay in jodhpur.

the best rooms are not in the main building but in the side wing
