We had an unpleasant stay. It all started with the location. Its situated in a narrow road and 4 wheelers not allowed during day time, and obviously we had to book a rickshaw from the market to the hotel. The rooms are big but its all smoking rooms which is not fit for family. It smells of damp. No efforts made to use freshener. Horrible!

My husband was ill while we stayed here and the staff were absolutely wonderful helping us with the hospital, sending food, keeping our room for us. We could not have been better looked after. And Nirvana Home is a beautiful building with a wonderful roof top restaurant. Not to be missed.

My wife and I split the special thali lunch two days in a row here. They have a nice view of the fort from their breezy, covered rooftop that is a great place to escape the heat of the day. The service can be a little slow but good food is worth waiting for!

Staff was quite nice and they prepared food for us in the middle of the night when we arrived, which was quite nice and very appreciated. Location is good and it is surrounded by the market making it super nice to walk around the market. Nice tough with the rooftop restaurant, but the dishes and place mats were quite dirty. Bed sheets and towels are quite disgusting and the room could do with a clean and a bit of colour on the walls. Cleanliness is an issue for foreign travellers and it seems India does not get this.

It's bang in the middle of the noisy bazaar and you'll wonder whether you've booked the right place, but once you're in, it's wonderful. The staff is warm and welcoming, the temple on the premises and the corridors are beautifully done, and the terrace has a great view of the fort. The rooms are very tiny - check before you decide which one to stay in. But they're well-equipped. Note that cars cannot come all the way up to the entrance - call ahead if you need help with getting your luggage in from the main street.
