  • Patwa Haveli

Very beautiful Haveli but very expensive for the students who wish to visit them as entry fees are very high. Well maintained palace and the rajasthani culture is really visible in every inch of it. A must see place in jaisalmer.

  • Intricately carved softstone

    by TripTipr on

Attention to detail...and the finest, most intricately carved soft sandstone, interlocked without using cement or construct these dream mansions of yore. Intricate Lattice work akin to lace...An absolute delight and treat for the eyes to behold! A great ode to the spirit of those people who inhabited and embraced the harsh climes this region offers, yet making it their own. A must-see!

  • Nice Old look Hotel

    by vidyutm on

It is a old house converted into hotel. rooms are in look with attached washroom. good for family. It is in old city area of Jodhpur. No resturant but you can get food on order. I have a good stay of one day here.

  • Looked haunted, worst hotel ever

    by ShaktiA30 on

Location was highly improper for any civilian to live, the place was doomy with little or no people. The corridor was so thin that it was difficult for one person to walk. The place was extremely difficult to locate & it was a centuries old house (NOT A HOTEL, AND DEFINITELY NOT A HAVELI WHICH IS MENTIONED IN THE NAME) which was looking haunted at the very outset. There was no staff. The only person present was himself telling that he is not residing here but came for temporary period of today. The owner never visited the place as per the person who met us at the hotel. The thin corridor shown in the picture is entrance of hotel, and if seen with more clarity has board of hotel "Patwa Haweli". We had female family members with us, and the place was so secluded that if any mishappening took place we had no place to escape.
