Great food, great service and a wonderful setting. Ruined by aggressive Muslim loudspeakers broadcasting propaganda at such a volume we could not hear each other. The tourist authority and police have to put a stop to this.

Stayed here with my mum earlier in the week for two nights an absolutely loved it. That entrance as you walk towards the breakfast restaurant is wow and the whole place is magnificent. The staff are well trained and lovely and we loved the no tipping policy until the end of the stay. The rooms are lovely and our view of the fort was the best! It really made our stay in Johdpur.

The Raas hotel have great views of Jodhpur castle. It is located in a quiet place at the center of Jodhpur next to the old well and a few minutes walk from the market. Our room was big, very comfortable and overlooking the fort. The service is impeccable and both restaurants (serving the same menu) were very good.

Hotel is well placed in the old town easy access to fort and market . The staff are very friendly and the room we stayed in was big and comfortable . HOWEVER...... when you check in they give you earplugs explaining that the hotel is right next door to the mosque .The call to prayer is about 5 times per day and starts at 5.30 am. The earplugs would hopefully help you if you are a light sleeper. We found the call to prayer not much of a problem as the rooms are soundproofed. However, the mosque also has a sermon in the evening which is broadcast through very loudspeakers .This can go on for about half an hour to an hour most evenings. Unaware of the problem , we chose to have dinner at their outdoor rooftop restaurant. The sermon was really loud and went on right through dinner. I feel sorry for the hotel as they obviously have no control over the matter. Perhaps check out when sermon is on and avoid booking dinner at that time ....or take earplugs to dinner!?!?

Dream hotel in the heart of the old town. the service is perfect, the setting is sumptuous. The only problem is that it adjoins a mosque and at 5:30 in the morning we are woken up by the prayer of the iman.
