Had a comfortable stay there. The host was very friendly. The place is very close to ghanta ghar. The haveli is nice and old and gives a good feeling. The terrace had good view of the fort. We ordered paratha, poha and omelette. The food was great. The five stars are specially for the host who helped us a great deal.

Wonderful old haveli in the same hands for generations. Large clean rooms with wonderful ambience. Made to feel extremely welcome by Jugnu and his family. Great rooftop space for breakfast and fantastic views of the Mehrangarh fort. Within walking distance of the market, fort and stepwell. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

This place is definitely a piece of history. The home of a nobleman 200+ years ago. Host is very informative, helpful and courteous. But the place is neither maintained respectfully for the heritage, nor for the respect of the guests who would use it. We used the two non-AC rooms in the corner of the property. They are not ventilated well and we chose to leave the doors open at night. The added bathrooms at the back do not have any ventilation either. It should never have been given to families especially with a kid old enough to need an extra bed. So cramped. Hygiene was good. Unfortunately, there was a sewer leak in the neighborhood which caused a terrible stench the day we checked in. Our host got that sorted by next day. Our host made the decision to arrange only 4 lunches when we asked for 6 because he hates to see food going waste. We are not those who waste food and his plan backfired not only on him as he scrambled, but on us, who were weary at 3pm after a drive from Jaisalmer. Subsequent meals too were of very small portion sizes. Food tastes good when they are not scrambling to arrange it. Breakfast was not part of the package, which could possibly be better worded. The rooms were best suited for single occupancy or for petite couples.

What a wonderful guest house! This historic building is in a great location and offers incredible views of the city as well as large, quiet rooms. We greatly enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop and in the lovely courtyard. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The owner and staff were also very welcoming and helpful, providing quality service to make our stay extra special. I highly recommend this guest house to all tourists seeking a memorable time in Jodhpur!

This place is a little past its best these days, but there's no question that they've made a lot of effort with what they have available, and the owner is extremely helpful. So helpful, that one of the most extraordinary things that's ever happened to me in 10 visits to India occurred there. My 11-year old daughter left her mobile in a rickshaw in Jodhpur. The driver only found it four days later when he was cleaning the rickshaw. There was still enough charge left for him to be able to see the front screen, which was a photo of my daughter and a friend. Recognising her, he handed the phone in to the police and gave them the name of the hotel where he'd taken us. Despite us not having stayed there, the police managed to track down the hotel where we'd actually stayed, Sadar Haveli, got my mobile number from our check-in details and contacted me. The problem was that we were now 7 hours' drive away in Jaipur, heading to Delhi the day after, and England the day after. No problem. The police gave it to the driver of an overnight Jodhpur to Jaipur bus, and I met the bus at the other end. For that reason, this hotel gets an extra star from me.
