I travel quite often and trust me when I say this - but Samsara is a perfect location to take a break from the humdrum of city life. When I reached dechu, I had no clue where I am heading. I booked the property online and wasnt sure if it would genuinely be so good. The road was empty as if nothing existed here and there for miles. But once stepped into the reception, I knew I was going to make a LOT of memories here. The property is extremely beautiful and is divided into many luxury cottages. One has to walk down quite a lot to be able to reach reception or dining area, so automatically my Choice was ordering food in the rooms. The manager observed it and suggested to arrange the dinner at dessert, followed by a stay in luxury tent and then, dune bashing in the morning. Ill fall short of word if I would have to describe my experience. It was fantastic. Some candle light tables were lit at the dessert trail and we were served authentic Rajasthani food after a cultural performance. Dune bashing too was an amazing experience and made one of the best highlights of the trip. The staff is very polite, courteous and helpful. If I do not mention about the stunning Pool at Samsara, my review wouldnt be complete. I usually soaked in the sun, or had my juice around the pool and then dip in every morning, or evening or event sometimes at night. Yes, its that pretty. (And clean). Thankyou for a beautiful experience in the midst of nothing.

It was just a amazing start of the year in 2018, we visited the property in Jan'18, the resort at the start is spotless & amazing setup, lawn, ethnic touch given to property, pool.... nice place to relax, we further went on to stay at the Camps after an experimental Jeep drive through the desert.... One must go & stay at least in the camp rather than staying in big hotels....

Samsara is gud resort to stay but definitely not for good food. They arrange local dance activity in evening & breakfast is average. No other attraction in resort so we got bored after 1 day only. Don't visit this in summer & winter visit is highly recommended. Room are big & 1 full length pool is also there.

Booked a 1 night experience in their luxury tent. Pickup issue was there but resolved efficiently. The resort is very beautiful with resplendent lawns and a lovely looking swimming pool. Since it was very hot they checked us into suites in the resort, for a few hours. The highlight of the stay was the dune bashing safari. Pappu the driver was excellent and the ride was great. The tents are perched on edge of a large dune etc. Very nicely done tents. But of course no a/c so will not work beyond March bcoz of the heat. The evening was beautiful. The folk artists were great. The guy disbursing snacks could be more generous however. Dining under the stars (and you can see many) with a sarangi player playing was brilliant. The only thing that they should do better is the breakfast the next morning. The choices were very limited. As a 5 star property can do better. It's a little tricky for elderly people so they need to be careful. Especially due to limited lighting and need to climb through sand and the slightly uneven rocky stairs. Even for kids that is tricky Overall we are very glad we chose this property

Samsara has a nice work module . When you arrive they make your stay comfortable at their resort which is different from where you get shifted( tents in the desert )after the sand dunes safari n bashing .. it was an amazing experience. Winters would be mind blowing here . The cultural program in the middle of nowhere was spectacular .
