Situated amidst endless picturesque dunes of the Thar Desert on Jodhpur-Jaisalmer Highway, Samsara Resort provides a restful ambience, which is worth experiencing. The golden sandy surroundings are complemented with carefully laid in-house water bodies of moats and fountains.
It features a wide selection of rooms, each of which has been done with artistic interiors and equipped with all the modern amenities. As per requirements, guests can make a choice of their rooms from two categories, which are Superior Deluxe Villas and Suites.
Samsara Resort houses a large and well-accoutred conference room, which can accommodate up to 96 people at a time. Within the premises, there is also an elegantly decorated restaurant with a bright storey roof light in its centre.
Guests who want to indulge in fine cocktails, wines and spirits, can step in the on-site restaurant called The Pavillion. A large freshwater swimming pool with a deck and recreation zone is another important highlight of Samsara Resort.

We just spend one night at the Samsara Desert Camp, what a wonderful experience! From the very first moment they make you feel welcomed. First we enjoyed a delicious meal at the resort and then we took a Jeep, about 7 km, to the desert camp. Our tent was really nice and tastefully decorated! They have upgrade us to the suite, so we had lot of room, big bathroom and on the back patio we had two hammocks and an extra shower. In the afternoon I enjoyed very much the camel ride, and later we had a performance with amazing local music and dancers! The highlight of the night was the surprise dinner on the dunes, so romantic and charming!!! Chef Bhati was in charge of our delicious Rajasthani dinner and the staff very attentive! Next morning we enjoyed a desert safari, really the best way to experience the desert and its people. Baba Singh, our skilled driver, took us safely through the sand dunes and stoped in the local places so we could interact with the people, a real privilege for us!!! Everybody went out of the way to make our stay unique and memorable, from the manager to the last person on the staff, so we could not be more happy with our choice to spend a night in Samsara. The only regret is not having more time to spend there!!! Highly recommended !

The experience was awesome. The people and services both were excellent. Jeep safari is a unique experience not to be missed out. Camp fire and folk music and dance is good. Tents are nice , clean and with all facilities. Also, they make you feel safe by being around. Breakfast at their Tent and Dinner amongst Sand dunes with Camp fire can never be forgotten. In Jeep safari the Driving up and down the sand dunes is fun. Overall, we felt our experience here was much better then that in Dubai. Go for it. Don't miss it ever. Samsara is the place to get the quality and a memorable experience.

Samsara Resort and Camps perfectly defines your holiday in Rajasthan, particularly if you are looking for some exclusivity or experiences. Camp are a must experience here which are little secluded and located in interiors of Dechu, offering luxurious as well as comfortable stay in their camps, with lot of cultural activities too in the evening along with bar-be-que session followed by dinner. around the camp-site they have lot of spots that provide great views of desert, sun-set points and bird-eye view of farm lands. The most spectacular element is the 1 hour JEEP SAFARI which is a must and you wont experience that at many locations. Takes for rides over the steep sand dunes, village tours, few sighting of wild life etc...With SAM in Jaisalmer getting so much commercialized and so little to offer, this must be opted for your unique holiday. While their luxury resort, located on main highway between Jodhpur and Jaisalmer, offers comfortable stay with no activities though.....Ideal for leisure and relaxation. Food-wise too it exceeded our expectations, thanks to Chef Laxman, must not be easy to delivery such standards to this hard terrain. We stayed in Dechu for 2 nights - 1 at the camp and the other one at the resort....With Jodhpur/Jaisalmer getting so over crowded, I totally recommend to add Dechu in the itinerary...for it makes your experience so enriching.

We stayed at the desert camp for 2 nights as an antidote to 5 cities in 15 days as part of a long trip to Rajasthan. It was just what we needed. The desert camp is a wonderfully immersive experience - totally bewitching on first sight. Our stay totally lived up to, even exceeded, our expectations. The tents are great, especially if you're lucky, as we were, to be upgraded to a 'suite' tent. Great decor, roomy and beautifully laid out. The evening entertainment and meal were really good and the staff, without exception, were eager to please. Special mentions to Rawel in the restaurant, Laxma the chef and Babu Singh a dune driver par excellence. Little touches make a stay and here they don't disappoint - hot water bottles as part of the turndown service and coffee/tea brought to your tent first thing in the morning. We left relaxed and re-energised.

We were a group of 9. Food was excellent. (Man in the leather jacket, I think in charge of food, should be made manager. So very welcoming and friendly) Staff were extremely friendly. Facilities were very good. Lovely tents and an excellent shower in the desert. We opted out of the camel safari and jeep safari. We just wanted to relax as a family. Very pleased we did that. 1 point off for the manager as I didn't like the way he rushed us into the car to get back to the campsite. I also didn't like to see the staff shivering because of the cold while he walked about in a jacket and scarf. Small detail: I don't understand why they have Bonne Maman honey? Is there no honey in India?
