Manish, Manita and their parents, family and staff looked after me as if I WAS family!! They organized tours and transport when I needed it, and gave me ideas for what to explore. The guesthouse is a marvel! Rooms and staircases and balconies go everywhere. I've never seen a place like it. Close to everything, a great stay

This is a very old and beautiful hotel on many floors, with 2 rooftop areas and another mid story eating area. The food we had was freshly cooked and as a result did not arrive in 2 minutes but the Indian food is superb. Naans, potatoes and curries are lovely, banana pancake for breakfast gorgeous. Our room (1) was large and authentic with old stone shelves yet a lovely modern bathroom and plenty hot water for two. If I have any feedback it is for the reception area to be aware of the room (1) directly above the grid and noise from reception and kitchen late in the evening and early morning does travel directly upstairs and can be a bit disturbing but we were fine with it. There is a real family atmosphere here and we felt cared for, welcomed and accepted here. Mr Jain and his family welcomed us. The street is narrow and a car or tuk tuk cannot teach the hotel but the streets around it are amazing to explore with the clock tower, market and my favourite place stepwell are all close by. I loved this place and for the price it is excellent value!

I could stay only for the time of a mango lassi but I guarantee that I am still looking back at it! And at the amazing roof top view as well!! Wish I could have stayed for a night or two! Great position. Tourist friendly.

we booked 2 rooms in this hotel almost one and half month before our journey date as it was Holi day. even payment was done. but just 1 week before our journey we received call from hotel that they cancel our booking as they have some function in their hotel. in festival time and in last moment most of good hotels are sold out. this is very unprofessional. next time never ever i booked this hotel.

The hotels location is fantastic, right in the thick of the markets, about a 10 minute walk from the clock tower, which is the centre of town. We stayed in a room on the top floor, which is six flights of stairs up (no elevator). The view of the fort is worth the stairs! Room was very basic and felt unfinished (electrical cabling hanging down and a few holes in walls/ceiling) but served its purpose. Indias apparent insistence on wet rooms instead of having shower doors will never cease to frustrate me. We didnt get fresh towels/sheets but that may have been our misunderstanding. The front door is locked at 10:30pm as the family also live there so keep that in mind. The owners/family are wonderfully friendly. Didnt eat in the restaurant but had chai which was amazingly delicious while getting henna done. Can highly recommend getting henna here - detail and quality was exceptional and affordable (I paid 300 for hand and arm, although she only asked 200). Giving it a 4 point rating because it is definitely value for money.
