I stayed in this guest house, the GH is very nice with old style. I like the room athought AC is old and noisy. The position is good to explore blue city. The restaurant is ok but need wait long to have food. Anw, i really like this guest house.

10 Very comfortable, excellent service, wonderful Raj style building. Being met personally on arrival by the charming manager. The lovely big bedrooms. An old family house, with a large garden, has been converted to an atmospheric hotel, with interesting old pictures. Can dine in the dining room or in the roof top. Excellent

The best place we stayed at anywhere in India. Relatively peaceful location is right in the Blue City and is ideal for visiting the Fort ,clock tower and all other sights- the path is less steep and much more pleasant and scenic than on the city side. Easy to get to - tell the driver Moti chowk and you will be dropped in the little square right outside. The building and decor is beautiful - more like a museum - and with a very impressive lighting scheme. The open-sided rooftop restaurant is great - magnificent view of the Fort. Jodhpur is my favourite city in India and this hotel is now one of the reasons.

Hotel is located in a great area (no cars allowed) so you will have to get a tuk tuk, and be ready to jump out when you arrive as it's on a tiny winding road. But great location with walking distance of the clock tower and the market. I had a very warm welcome by the family and was upgraded to the top floor room with a view over the city. However I later found out that the bed had bugs in it (photos attached). I had to call the owner and ask for a room change as no one stays at reception over night. He was very responsive and sent someone over in 5 minutes at 11:30 p.m. to give me a new room. He did apologies and say that this had come at a surprise to them as they didn't expect it, but i had sent them photos to make sure he saw the extent. I was however woken up at 12:30 p.m. to banging on the door 5 times, having being disorientated and not wanting to open the door as there were no lights on the hallway turned on, I asked who it was to be told that they have brought me water (which i didn't ask for). I was taken back and scared and said no and to go away i don't know you. I then called manager again to say someone has been at my door and i don't feel safe no knowing what is going on. He informed me that he had asked his colleagues to bring me water (and they did so after the finished eating dinner at 12:30 p.m.). He apologized for his staff's behaviour. The shower in the room didn't have hot water, but at this point in the morning i just wanted out there. The next morning the family did apologies for the incident and insisted on giving me a gift, which as a backpacker I really didn't want, being a pillow case. They owner also apologies to me on his motor bike when i had left, which was a nice gesture, however I was so tried from not sleeping the night before i just wanted out. Not the best experience, I will prob spend a bit more money to get a decent night sleep.

Located in the middle of old town, walking distance to the clock tower and Sadar market. Guesthouse arranged a rickshaw to pick us up from the clock tower (no car allowed on old town), quite hard to locate the guesthouse if one is not looking up. We had room on the top floor overlooking the fort. Room is clean, breezy and with attached bathroom. Sitting at the Rooftop restaurant is breezy especially during evening time. The family is great and papa especially where we spent most of the time chatting whenever we are back to the guesthouse. We ended up doing foot massage together with papa.
