I stayed here with 2 girlfriends for one night. We had wondered how we would fit in a Jeep safari and camel safari, dinner and a show all in one afternoon! I'd advise you bring a book because there is a fair bit of downtime actually! We arrived at the Base Camp which was an actual accommodation complex with buildings, restaurants & pool. Our main bags were taken to the tent camp so we did not see them for another 3 hours or so. If there anything essential you need, take it with you personally! I do regret not taking my book. We were advised to relax by the pool, and ate some lunch in the restaurant. We were later taken on our Jeep safari to the actual camp. It was fun, if not scary, going down the steep dunes. We had a lovely young man who spoke good English looking after us for the whole stay. We went through a village and were shown a traditional home which was lovely. Arriving at the camp there was more downtime, in the well appointed tents. It felt like a safari in the 1940's(flushing toilet a bonus!) and was so nice not to have wifi or television! Before dusk we went on our short camel safari. It was cute. There are not really 'typical' all dune desert outlooks, however there were a lot of peacocks which was cool. Dinner was delicious, the show great, and we seriously enjoyed our stay.

No integrity. Dishonest management. Poor and run down camp / tents. Can't even offer a tea or snack between meal times. I had booked two rooms for my guests and I from 3rd to 4th March. At the time of booking their Sales representative Mr. Kulveer Singh kept insisting to pay full advance as they were getting sold out. And I paid full advance to the property, trusting him and having known him for a while. On March 1st I had a medical emergency in the family and informed them that I have to cancel 1 room due to the sudden development and subsequently forwarded them medical reports of the same. They said they would look into the refund for 1 room that was not going to be used on the 3rd. There after my guest went ahead as per schedule and found the services terrible. They arrived around 3 pm and had to wait quite a while to be transported to the camp site / their tent which is far from the main resort. On arrival they were very hungry and requested for a sandwich or some kind of a snack at their camping resort which had nothing to offer till almost 7 pm (which was their dinner time), not even cookies and tea. They hung around hungry till 7 pm in the empty resort which apparently had not even 2 or 3 more guests. Its is surprising how their Sales person Mr. Kulveer Singh and their reservation team took full advance by misleading us that their camp was getting fully booked on the said dates. However, my guests lasted a night in the run down camp with poor service. Subsequently I have been requesting for the refund for the 1 night but their Sales person and their reservations team has not even had the decency to return to my numerous emails. Also shocking their Sales person Mr. Kulveer Singh stopped taking my calls and finally when I tried calling him from a different number, he answered. I repeated my request and he said that the OWNWER of their resort and camp follows a "pay up and shut up policy", but he can try to ask again for refund of 1 night due to medical exigency. Its been over 4 months and after constant reminders on emails and calls, they haven't even revert to me. Shows only their unethical approach, poor operations and bad customer service. Would strongly recommend to avoid this overly priced resort snd camp as there are numerous options in the area around Jodhpur for a much better experience for lesser or half price. And most certainly avoid paying full advance upfront to this resort because if you have cancel for even a death in the family they would not refund your swallowed money. Although every other resort would make an exception in such dire conditions but they wouldn't because want to prey on your money to save their run down premises!

Whilst on tour stayed here 1 night and wished it had been longer. Rooms very quaint but comfy. We were mea t to stay under canvas but with temperatures of 45 degrees it was far too hot so stayed in main resort. Beds comfy and gardens and grounds very interesting with loads of wildlife, birds and chipmunks. Breakfast and dinner was alfresco which we loved. Early morning camel rides in desert and jeeps down the sand dunes, amazing. To describe it in four words ,little corner of paradise.

We stayed there as a family for one night on our way to Jaiselmeir. We stayed in one of the luxury tents, which was nothing short of a decent hotel room. The staff was very helpful and ready to serve with a smile. In the evening the resort arranges a cultural show where local artists present folk songs and dances. It was a very enjoyable evening. The camps are 5km away from the main resort and the main road so it is very quite and peaceful. The main resort is very nice as well. The food was excellent. Highly recommend
