We loved being part of the Prajapat family during our short stay. We really felt immersed in the atmosphere and got to learn a lot about the family way of life. Chhotaram and his wife Mamata were so welcoming and kind, along with Chhotaram's parents Pukhraj hi and Dariya & his children Khushi, Trilok and Vasudev - as well as the rest of the family! We took a lovely walk to a local sunset spot in the village with Chhotaram's brother Ashok (see pictures!). Another highlight of the trip was the beautiful henna that was drawn for me by Ashok's wife Leela, and the Rajasthani make-over! We loved the camel trek in the desert & jumping off the sand dunes (see photos) with Chhotoram! Om took us on a fantastic village safari where we met a Bishnoi family & saw pottery being made on a traditional wheel. We also loved learning how to make a spring onion curry, chapatis & chai with Mamata. All the food we ate at the home stay was absolutely delicious! Our hut was lovely and comfortable with an adjoining bathroom with all mod-cons. All in all, it was an excellent time and we only regret that we should have stayed more nights.

Wow! This is one of the most special stays I've ever had in any country. I felt so at home in Chhotaram and Mamata's wonderful place. It is an amazing experience to go and live for a few nights in a traditional village and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to get off the tourist trail in India and see something unique. I spent 3 days/nights here and I could have stayed a week. I'd also recommend taking the desert camel safari if you want to get into a beautiful slice of nature. Can't wait to come back here!

I will never forget my experience with this family. As soon as you eneter their place you will feel right at home. They are amazing people with very good hospitality skills. All members are fully involved to make their guests comfortable. Their jeep safari is a must try experience when you are there. Thank you for such a wonderful time and i hope to visit back soon.

As soon as u enter this adobe, you will feel the good vibes the home carries. We met their father, mother, wife, brothers and sis in laws and also the kids.. the evenings were full of chit chats and dinner together as a family.. mr. Chottaram is really v nice host.

Our stay with Chhotaram and his family was one of the most memorable of our trip to India. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed into the family. We quickly and easily felt very at home and as our children played with the children in the family my husband and I enjoyed sitting lazily on the charpai under the tree drinking masala tea. The food we ate was delicious and there was always plenty to go round. We had the opportunity to learn how to make Indian bread and to see how it is cooked on an open fire. My daughter enjoyed many, many lemon and sugar pancakes (chapati's). There is something for everyone's taste! The rooms were simple but clean with massive attached bathrooms. My husband and son slept outside both nights we were there which they loved. I will certainly be highly recommending this genuine homestay experience to my friends. It's an excellent and safe way of being able to really get an idea of what rural Indian life is like. Truly wonderful.
