From the moment we were met at the train station in Jodhpur to the moment we were waved off from the door of the hotel the experience was phenomenal. Having been lucky enough to have visited many 5 star hotels across the world, I was not prepared for how much this hotel can exceed one's expectations. The hotel setting, amenities, service and ambience is truly exceptional. Every interaction with staff in the hotel is personalised and leaves you feeling like royalty yourself. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite and this enhanced our stay even further making it extra special. We dined in the hotel's restaurants which were exquisite. We especially appreciated the amazing service from Rawal, Karan and Narander. Each evening we would return to find our room with special touches from our housekeeper Asif. I would thoroughly recommend staying in this hotel if you want a truly royal experience. The hotel and palace are breathtaking and the manager Alka ensures that every visitor is treated like royalty. We were very impressed.

We had an incredible stay in this wonderful hotel and can highly recommend it! The interior and surroundings of the palace are magnificent and the staff was doing their very utmost to make our stay memorable. They have surely succeeded!

There are few words to describe what I characterize as the most seamless; elegant experience I have had in any hotel in the world. I am an regular international guest (and fan) of the Taj properties but had never had the opportunity to visit Umaid Bhawan. The establishment went far beyond my expectations. The sheer size of the palace is collosal, yet with only 70 guest rooms/suites, there is an unexpected air of intimacy. The consistency of the architecture with the original furniture and artwork in near unseen. The staff is impeccably trained (which means discrete and attentive but non-invasive). The only words are "you don't know what you are missing until you have been to Umaid Bhawan". Live the life of a real Raj; it's worth every penny.

You feel that you are in ancient time. Very good hospitality. Good stay. Nice place for honey moon. You get rajashthani food to enjoy . Near by lots of place too see and good shopping in jodhpur. I love to go again

This is probably the best hotel in the world.Theres is nothing comparable to the Umaid Bhavan Palace. Absolutely recommended no matter the price. You will always remember the beauty of the Umaid Bhavan Palace for your whole life.
