  • Living in a Tea Estate

    by Shresthanjan N on August 1, 2017

The scenic beauty of the tea gardens is mesmerizing. The golf course is well maintained and visitors can stroll by the fields, play golf, snooker, read in the library, hangout in the cafeteria or enjoy the swimming pool. I would advise to reach there in the morning so that you can enjoy the whole day with family and lunch. Golf coach is very helpful and so are the other staff.

  • Nestled in between beautiful tea gardens this place is calm quite and enjoyable

by svishwamitra on July 9, 2017

It had rained the day we reached there in May 2017 and it can get tough to maintain a clean ambience in such situations and despite that the staff did a decent job. The golf course is just awesome, there is a decent gym and a spa for the fitness conscious, a swimming pool, lots and lots of open space (green), surrounded by tea gardens... the place is just amazing. The food you get is delicious... you can learn and/ or play golf at a reasonable price. I had also been here with family and friends in May 2016 and all of us had a ball of a time. The overall rating could have been 5 had the amenities in the bathroom (in the cottage that we stayed) had been slightly better maintained. It wasn't too bad but with everything else so brilliant this was something that didn't match the expectation. Another positive was that almost all staff that I interacted with (during all my visits), were extremely friendly and co-operative. All in all it was always a very memorable experience.

  • Heavenly place

    by 478ankurb on May 2, 2017

Even if you are not golf player one must visit the place. good restaurant, good rooms, spa, bar, swimming pool, cottages everything you want to enjoy in your holidays, They have a golf practice range and 18 hole golf course. They also have a lot of indoor activities.

  • A run down fake heritage hotel

by Jpnewdelhi on April 14, 2017

We booked 2 rooms for our family 2 kids 8-10 years old, 1 little boy 1 y.o and 2 adults. Though booked one month before, they didn't prepare the room, neither had they a baby cot. To add other good news they don't have king size bed (means something to sleep with your wife..) so had only 2 twins mounted on wheels! So we didn't want t to help us despite our insistance and we couldn't join the twins properly to keep our baby safe. To give you the icing on the cake: the bathroom was similar what you could expect in the 60's but dirty (see the pic attached), we couldn't visit the tea plantation due to a holiday and... the swimming pool was out of order, the room service pathetic and there are several trains during the night and you will feel like sleeping in a train station. In a word: stay away from this shabby place.

  • Memorable stay

    by poly2210 on April 6, 2017

This resort really surprised me. It was something else. Situated amidst tea estates, it gives a feel of true relaxation. Green meets the eye in every direction. A big relief from the hot and polluted city air. The sprawling golf course is around the lodging and golf is readily available to all guests at an additional charge. We visited in March and we were the only guests there! There wasn't much to do around Jorhat, but this place itself felt like a retreat. The restaurant served some absolutely delicious food (I recommend the mixed vegetable curry) which was made directly as per our requirements. Rooms were tastefully furnished and comfy. We were treated to stunning views of sunset and sunrise. In the evening we were kept engaged by an activity centre with games like billiards, carrom and table tennis. Afterwards we just sat outside sipping on delicious tea and enjoying the cool breeze. We were taken around the golf estate in a cart which truly seats only one, but I squeezed in. However, the cost of that little 30 min ride was 200 per head. Which I thought was steep. Golf starts from 7 am and close by 4pm, much like a lot of things in Assam, where the sun sets by 530. Must visit if u r planning to stay for a day in Jorhat.

  • Almost all rooms have a good view of the golf course and the near by tea gardens

by svishwamitra on July 9, 2017

  • Cottages near the lobby and resturant are more convenient to access the facilities.

    by 478ankurb on May 2, 2017

  • Cottage No. 6-10 are the best located.

    by K_Yogi on July 2, 2016

  • Do not expect it as a 5 star resort - you will be disappointed - take is as an abode of history and golf - you will be satisfied.

    by somen_sengupta on April 15, 2016

  • One room is huge and palatial (CH4) unlike other rooms but there are staff quarters behind this room; so expect lot of noise.
