What's Good: Excellant natural ambience, quite green and very good facilities. But facilities like business room with internet and desktop should be added. Food prices should be reduced slightly.

We were meant to stay at another hotel which was still a construction site and checked in to Mayfair as an alternate. Just opened in Dec 17, this lovely heritage hotel is surely the best one to stay in Kalimpong. Rooms, food, staff all excellent.

Everything was absolutely wonderful!! ,Food they provided was really great quality and absolutely delicious :) Wonderful scenery and comfortable room with a lot of complementary drink&snacks! We had an excellent stay at Mayfair Kelimpong, From Reception to the Housekeeping to Concierge to F&B all Staff were well groomed polite, helpful and friendly. This hotel is one of a kind. It does not feel like a Hotel. You can actually feel the love with which it has been made. The artifacts , photographs and the paintings which adorn all the walls of the Hotel bring alive a bygone era. You need 2 full days just to absorb the displays. The rooms are spectacular as is the view.

Mayfair Kalimpong Staff harassed my family and Ruined our Special day! Had booked the property for pre wedding photoshoot on 29th January , which turned out to be the worst nightmare for me, my fiance, my family and my photographers. They single handily ruined the one day which was supposed to be special for us. Even though we paid in advance the full payment for photography and had taken utmost care to maintain the decorum of the property, we were constantly harnessed from the very beginning. The so called attitude and ego of staff even before the property has started is totally not acceptable. The way the some of the managers and staff were passing comments as if were doing it for free when we were clicking photos even after making full payment reflects very poorly on your staff and your esteemed organization. And the nail in the coffin was when one of the managers asked us to leave point blank and was rude to such an extent that my family was scared for their well being -just for pouring wine in glass to get photos clicked when we were not even informed about the rules of liquor at your property by your staff. I am sorry to say but when you charge someone for your service you cannot harass the customers for your own sloppiness. There is a way to address your customers and they should be treated as guests and not as liabilities. We are simple people who wanted to create special memories at your place, but you spoilt our trip. Hope no one else faces this. You have spoilt my money, resources, time, day and mood. 4 stars for aesthetic beauty 0 stars for service 0 stars for customer satisfaction 0 stars for your attitude
