Nice and well maintained homestay at a quiet place with great staffs. owners and manager Mr Abhishek. Its 1.5 km away from the town center, with good roof and balcony views. Food quantity is more than you expect :)

Place is about 15 mins from city center.famous cactus garden is few mins walk from this place..we stayed 2 nights in this place. 1st thing you would notice is the neatly laid out garden and plants inside the hotel area and spick and span cleanlyness of the place.Owner stays along with this property.there are rooms in basement with no view of mountain.View from open dining area is fantastic with Kanchenjunga range visible on clear days. they have an inhouse cook with limited but very good choices in Indian and chinese and local Nepalese food.We had dinner on both days and really loved less spicy /oily homely made butter chicken ,fried beans.Chinese items like Veg stirred chowmein also really well made.Breakfast choice is limited but there veg/chicken/egg sandwich is a must have here..They provide CP with choice of sandwich/puri,tea in breakfast Toilet was of moderate size but with modern amenities and again cleanliness attracts you immediately.Room size was of quite decent size for Deluxe room. Overall place is a nice well planned place with even a good collection of books in reading area, wifi is bit erratic ,may be due to the overall remoteness of the place..Open dining area is a must to have your meals in lush green surroundings. Price of food is on th higher side but as mentioned quality was very good. faced some issue with cable connection in our room but it was taken care after some requests by Mr.Abhishek ,the manager of the homestay.

This is a lovely place tucked away on a hill. Just a quick walk from the town. Very serene setting with beautiful grounds and nice views. There is a quiet about the place that was very pleasing to me. The staff are efficient and responsive. The food is very good. I did not eat anywhere else! It is completely clean everywhere. There is a rooftop terrace with seating and some hammocks. It has a very nice view and is protected from the sun.

Stayed 3 nights. Far from the crowd but still can walk to city center (or take a 10 rupee taxi drive). Staff is amazing, all of them, very helpful and attentive. Food is great and room is spacious, spotless clean. You feel at home from the first minute. They will come to take your order from your room for breakfast if you dont go down on time ;) Thanks for a great experience. We wished to have more time there.

This is a beautiful homestay in a lovely, relatively secluded setting. Id call it a guesthouse rather than a homestay, as they have 10-11 rooms and a restaurant. The rooms on the top floor are beautiful. However, I would avoid the rooms on the ground floor. They are damp and have peeling paint and arent as nicely furnished as some of the others. The owners are a really sweet couple who recently came back after many years in Bhutan.
