We spent and incredible week at 7 tigers. We were given an upstairs room initially for "more privacy" being "international tourists" which was a little run-down. However when we enquired about the room we originally booked we were moved there the next day - a luxury double by the river. The service was outstanding. Staff going WAY out of their way with surprise birthday cakes (the most delicious I've ever had), beer from presumably other resorts / shops without our asking and taking my partner to an internet spot to send work emails. The food was outstanding and copious! The safari's into Kanha were outstanding also; 11 tigers and 2 sloth bears, even a very close call with seeing dhole in the buffer area but the evaded us in the dark. The dust and manic driving in Kanha when tigers were around was a little disappointing but the incredible biodiversity and conservation management of the park made up for that. Thank you 7 Tigers Resort for giving me such a special birthday!

Exceptional experience. Far from the cold & careless vibe of snobby five starhotels, It felt more like a visit to a relative's grand home. This is as good as it gets. The Property is located slightly off the main road, but that's a good thing as you are cocooned in nature. The Luxury suites are on the River bank, and the best rooms to stay in. The whole gig is children friendly. You may notice all the positive reviews mention Mr Krishnan. The USP of this resort is Mr VenkatKrishnan's ( & the team's)sincere & personal style of hospitality with an Old School charm. They arrange safari promptly; no fuss. The food is rustic , Organic and rare for city dwellers. Seek MrRamakant for tailored food ideas.

We just recently spent 3 glorious nights here and really enjoyed our stay. We picked the luxury cabin along the riverbank and the views from our room and patio overlooking the river were breathtaking. The room is spacious and has a everything you need for your stay. Comfortable bed, AC, Fan, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, tv with endless amount of channels, a gigantic window with scenic views, a patio with couch for lounging. Around 4pm each day a troop of monkeys would come down to the river to eat and you can sit back on your patio or through the picturesque window and watch them. Next is the service at 7 tigers is exceptional the staff are always friendly and looking to serve you without hesitation. Honestly we only spent 3 nights and the staff made us feel like family! Next is the food! You will NEVER go hungry at 7 Tigers it was like a 7 course meal 3 times a day with so many different varieties and tasty. I think I gained 20 pounds in 3 days. It was a great experience to try new types of Indian dishes that I never had before and now have even more favourites. Lastly The Safaris which is the reason most people visit. 7 Tigers has their own Jeeps and naturalists that do an absolutely amazing job in helping you know the nature and find the Tiger. Everything was organized as I asked for and turned out perfectly. We did all 3 different gates each morning and on our last morning we found the tiger! We have so many great photos of the splendid nature and animals of Kanha. I really recommend staying at 7 Tigers. I doubt you will find a better location and hosts at a reasonable price. Thank you everyone for an experience we will never forget!

Visit - June 2017 Weather - End of summer, hot but manageable. Good property with excellent service. Room was very large with view of the Banjar river. Overall room and bathroom sizes are very good. However i think that the such large rooms need more than one air conditioner to keep it really cool on summer days. Service and the staff is exemplary. The best i have experienced. Despite us being on the all meal plan, they really accommodated with our meal choices. The food is great and is a blend of home and restaurant style cooking - which was awesome. Not many alcohol choices except Kingfisher premium beer. This resort is close to the Mukki gate which is one of the best gates for Tiger sightings in Kanha. It takes about 20 mins from 7 tigers to get to Mukki gate, so it helps if you are going for the 530am safari. They packed us a brilliant breakfast for our morning safari and Sonu was a great naturalist with good knowledge. Do note there is no Wifi and mobile signal (airtel) is very patchy. While i think that's great; for people who cant live without connectivity should make note of it. Overall a great place and super team. I would recommend if you could build a small play area with slides etc for toddlers/kids.
