Never ever stay in this hotel. The worst hotel ever. They do not provide water in the room. No kitchen, hence no warm water to drink. Bathroom is very small. Mosquitoes in the room. The rooms are separated by a plywood wall and not a concrete wall due to which the voice from neighbouring rooms are very audible. For the namesake of complimentary breakfast they just have one fixed menu. We got 2 parathas for each person and some curd. We can't order anything more. The tea that was provided was in a plastic jug that is used in bathrooms. Very pathetic service and the manager in the reception is also very rude.

Between Cgate/OVO/Hotels.com I can only report a shambolic experience I received from all concerned. I booked/paid in advance through hotels.com, and on arriving at the hotel I was told they did not know who hotels.com were. On calling the support centre I was told they didn't send the booking across to the hotel and would have that escalated and sorted in 15 minutes. That never happened. In that time the cgate hotel manager kindly offered me to pay for the room direct at a vastly over inflated rate. Only when I asked him to call for a taxi so I could leave KK and get back on the train before it left did he then offer to do me a favour and give me the room for 2k rs for the night. I was a bit trapped - take the room knowing it was all a bit suspect or depart without seeing an inch of KK. Needless to say I couldn't pay with card or get a receipt. Hotels.com then changed their minds over email and stopped acknowledging they had made a mistake and were then telling me that the hotel itself was refusing to give me a refund. That aside, as others have said this hotel is not in a great location, not good if you are on foot like I was. It was also empty - no other guests. I had to ask for toilet paper and I spent most of the night killing flies that had got into the room. There are no facilities to eat and again the location means that just going out and getting something is not ideal. I didn't have a great experience and I would not recommend anyone else stay in hotel and certainly don't prepay for the risk of being out of pocket. Luckily I paid on credit card and my bank refunded the money.

There were flies in our room and since my mom recently undergone a surgery we were worried and my wife went and asked the manager to spray a freshener/disinfectant in the room and that was our biggest mistake in life which we committed. Without acknowledging the problem the manager started yelling & shouting at my wife and he is so impolite and uncluttered that I would not be able to explain you in words. Immediately I went & asked why was he being so rude to a women doesn't he have basic sense his reply was "kya re kya karta tu aana toh Wahi hai na". Keeping the safety of my family in mind I immidietly checked out the same day after speaking to your Social Media team though I have booked the hotel for 2 days.

Fraud manager is the main issue in this hotel. HOTEL LOOKS OUTSIDE A MARVELLOUS GLASS ICON, INSIDE very pathetic..!!!. Not recommended at all even by mistake. Pls dont go to tis hotel. i had a bad bad experience becoz of tis hotel ly.. No sleep in night.. one sound coming in door.. waste waste waste..

This is in nowhere land - you will not even get an local auto to move around. Not even for food. You order food in the hotel, it comes from outside, like in refugee camps. There is a grave yard by the side of the hotel. They have put in additional aluminium sheets outside the rooms, to cover the view. There is nothing else on the other side, just barren land till your views reach. The manager (so called) was a rude guy - did not respond properly. If you do not know the local language - forget it.
