One more clean beach. Very nice view, very good for a swim. A family place to visit. Do visit in evening rather avoid visit in afternoon. Its 5 km from Central Karwar. Nearest airports are Goa, Belgaum, Hubli. Can be reached by Bus & Cab also.

This place has one of the best locations. Located on an isolated beach which is magnificent and clean, it feels amazing to put your feet on tje sand with water pulling it right below your feet. However the same isolation makes it bad. With no food and the one they serve is horror.

We wandered over to Majali but found it eerily empty & quiet. The staff, however, was quite helpful and agreed to serve us lunch, even when it seemed nobody was staying in the resort. Lunch took quite a while in preparing as they had to go & get all the ingredients afresh. However, they did a decent job of it, & kept us occupied during the waiting period. The lady who cooked for us was really nice, & ensured we ate properly. The resort opens up to the Arabian Sea and the view was beautiful. It's located in the middle of a sleepy fishing village; so, you can enjoy this languid pace. They don't serve alcohol.

Majali is a beach which is between GOA and Karwar. If you are one who likes places with fewer people and crowded areas this place is the right pick. The stay is also non-alcoholic which is perfect for families. The resorted in located on a fishermen's beach and if you are up early you can buy freshly caught fish straight out of the boat. There is an Island right in front of the resort to which you can walk on low tides. The water is blue on a clear sky day with clean sand filled with shells. Now thats just the beach. To get to the beach from the resort all you have to do is cross the road :) The resort is almost on the beach and they have a volley ball net to play beach volley ball. The resort has sea facing rooms with a wide area in the front with recliners and hammocks to relax. They have a campfire area as well for large gatherings. I was there for newyear and these are the Pros: Beautiful secluded location. Karwar is accessible with great sea food restaurants. Breakfast buffet and bread omelettes are very tasty. The rooms are cean with hot water. Front facing the sea and a back door and sitting area facing a water body where you can go Kayaking. The back sitting area is very quiet and relaxing. I was there for new years eve and they were very kind to cut a cake for us. Taps in the front of the rooms to remove the sand from the beach. All the rooms are well furnished. The waves in the sea are not furious thanks to the island, They mild and soft which is best for children. Staff is adaptative to your demands and very polite. Cons: Its better to go out for lunch and dinner, else you have to give the cook in the resort prior notice that you will need lunch and order from the menu. The food is still great but better to go to Karwar. If not for this the place is perfect and is a real value for money. I have been here twice and I am totally satisfied with the services.

Pathetic unprofessional staff. Way too expensive for below services. worst rooms available with saltwater at tap, spiders, lizards, ants. Even initial water bottles are chargeable. Ordered food sequence fished up. e.g. rice ready before roti n bhaji Breakfast item sequence fished up. e.g. bhaji ready before puri No Hot water .. its warm just to wash hands... May be a good place for full family with Kids May be good for one night stay only for relaxing. Located at a complicated place. Nothing available nearby... in fact nothing to see in Karwar village
