I stayed at Baikunth with my husband and daughter during the 2018 winter break. It is a lovely property with great views and lawns that are fab for soaking in the winter sun. Staff is amiable and rooms are cozy - we stayed in #6 which is apparently their largest single room cottage and it had everything we needed to keep ourselves warm (fireplace as well as AC with heat mode). However, the furniture was old and in need of urgent refurbishment especially since the price that they charged was no less than other hotels in the vicinity like Ramada/ Welcome Heritage but quality of the room was fairly low. The washroom was basic but had everything we needed. My favourite place was the bar which was well stocked and had old British vibe to it. The fireplace in the middle made spending time there even more comfortable and enjoyable. Food is nothing to write home about - dishes in the restaurant weren't fancy but most of the regular Indian fare was simple and tasty though the finger food in their cafe was fairly good. They have a kids room for babies and a play zone with pool, table tennis, basketball, cricket net, badminton, carrom etc but again the gear is old and hasn't been kept well. In decent shape for recreation though. No complaints really and our stay was comfortable but the service largely was unenthusiastic and the overall experience average.

This 18 year old property, though doesnt look like, is one of the most beautiful resorts I have stayed in the hills. Overlooking the valley and a perfect Sunset View point, this resort offers the best of stay and relaxation. Some of the good things we experienced - - Very tasty food and hygienic also. - Sun Set view point from the room is Awesome. - The lawns are lovely to laze around in the sun in the winters - Has an old school feel around the property. - The staff is very prompt and helpful. - Has activity areas for badminton, cricket, indoor plays etc - Kids room (though not very well equipped, can entertain them for a couple of hours) Some of the areas of improvement - Everything is chargeable except for the room rent, even the bonfire, which I thought goes without saying for a property full of guests close to Christmas for some entertainment - The whole property is a bit of a high low terrain, so in case you have older people in the group or kids, its a bit of a problem to go up and down. They do have a pick up and drop point closer to some of the rooms, better to try those. - The geyser, room heaters, and the tea maker continuously gave us issues in the 3 days we stayed, so you have to deal with them. Overall we had a beautiful stay, will definitely come back.

as we booked 8 huts for 2n/3d it was not available as per booking location, there was no option for us to stay as they provide.cottage rooms not having articles as of general use, as no paer napkin or hand towel etc.

Its a beautiful property with huge lawns and lovely views from room balcony. The food at the restaurant was delicious, so we mostly stayed in the resort. With lots of open spaces kids had lots to do at hand like- playing basketball, cricket, carrom, chess, badminton and run around to make their own games!! The resort arranged a private bon fire for our group which was also well organised.

Baikunth (heaven), is a hill resort hotel but designed in a way that you can walk with ease through the large enough property and enjoy the clear views and lush greenery. We enjoyed its food, facilities, room, and the main dining area - all of whom have large windows to enjoy the spectacular views of pine trees and clear blue skies. The hotel property seems to be quite successful ever since it opened about 17 years back - as it is booked solid almost every weekend all year round. We played badminton, pool, and enjoyed the sun. Food is nice, a bit over-priced, but the menu is quite good with good dishes. The service is reasonably good. But Baikunth Resorts' front office and relationship management can improve by some notches. More and better-trained staff will correct this. Overall, it was very relaxing. You will know this when you visit it.
