If there was an option of -5/5 I would have given that. Summary: The hotel played blaring loud music much above the allowed levels, even at day time, ruining our peace. The hotels lobby execute shouted and threatened us with implied harm and refused to curtail the noise. The hotels owner sly unremorseful attitude on the noise or his employees behaviour get special mention. Full Version: Part 1: Generally below average The rooms and service is about below average average with poorly made shower cubical, gawdy room design, leaking bathroom sanitation, not having lockers and calling the act or leaving the baggage in a random corner as lockers; however my biggest complaint is with noise pollution. Part 2: Noise pollution At around 1930 hours on Sunday September 2, 2018 the hotel started playing LOUD THUMPING music. Decibel levels at that level are illegal unless its a nightclub or a bar, and YOU NEED TO HAVE SOUNDPROOFING to play that. There are nightclubs in the whole world where do not disturb their neighbours. The supreme Court has certain regulations after 22:00 to 23:00 hours on decibel levels but that does not mean one can play blaring deafening music before that time, there are limitations to non night time noise levels as well. I asked them to stop but the lobby manager denied to shut the menace or even to get the music down. I did my best to fight and report them to law enforcement by trying and dialling 100 multiple times (number was unavailable!, by finding the number for Solan PS, by finally dialling 108 and an officer calling us back) including an email and Tweet to Himachal Police, the music didn't go the music down, obviously the police probably ignored my complaint or the hotel probably ignored the police. This culture is rotten. Part 3: Rohit Mehta aka Vishal, the Lobby Executive threatened my partner and I at 21:55 September 2nd 2018 we went to the lobby and the front office executive named 'Rohit Mehta' aka 'Vishal' started shouting at my partner and I. He ordered us to check out and said "it is not a private property". Yes, it is not but this non private property has guests who pay and still needs to adhere to the law. My greivance was genuine. He further barked out that this is not the first day in hospitality, well, that makes it even more sad that in these donkey's years he has not learnt a think, forget hospitality, he has not learnt how to talk, take ownership, and only resorted to threats and implications of violence. He stated giving us threatening stares and stood up wanting to hit me. By that time other guests conglomerated and he did not throw a swing after all. He did keep mouthing expletives and said "no one else is having a problem", well perhaps everyone else is immune to the nuisance and I am not. During our argument another guest came forward and complained that he was served chutney which was taken out from a dustbin. That matter was also being investigated. The Front Office Manager named 'Sunil Thakur' was, for lack of a better word, sterile in front of his employee. Sunil Thakur was shaking, he did not know how how to control his employee, or manage the order. I asked him to give me the proprietors number and he kept stalling for a good 15 minutes. He gave us false promises to place us in another hotel. I said sure as long as I don't pay a penny, am transported, and the property is of a similar star rating. He just kept mindlessly shaking his head. I asked him how does the executive Sunil Thakur still have a job after behaving in the way he did in such a public manner? He obviously thought that was a rhetorical question. I kept asking him to give me the details of the proprietor but still kept avoiding it, when he finally realised we wont budge, he told me that the owner/proprietor is standing "there". The apparent owner/proprietor, Varun Jain, was comparatively soft spoken but did not agree with my assertions at face. He was a sly man standing right there and trying his best to confront me. He kept saying that the other guests have requested the DJ, well too bloody bad eh, if the other guests request a live murder show or want to make the hotel a brothel would he comply? Why is noise, which is has a legal backing, not a concern? Perhaps because "nobody else has any problem"? Perhaps. Anyways he offered a refund and this and that but I asked him when would the music stop and what would he do about his employee that threatened us. To that he only said "I'll call you after 5 minutes". I said call me after 22:30 when the music would be stopped. He didnt call. Everyone was extremely callous, unremorseful and unapologetic. Go to this place only if you want an experience worse than a Paharganj hotel and staff ruder than prison guards.

Hotel quiet from from Kasauli with not a very good scenic view from rooms , even rooms are quiet confined . You can get better properties at good prices near main market kasauli . Services not upto the mark and in case you have done any advance payments forget about any kind of services since hotel purpose is solved of getting the money. In case you just go to have a look at the room after doing some advance payment during booking they will ask you to do full payment even if you are not staying after looking at the hotel condition

Very horrible services and food is pathetic. There is only 3 member staff and cook mostly be on leave. No tea available in room- they listen you when you call 10 times. This hotel remain closed due to illegal construction and they reopen this few days back...our holiday gone for toss because of his problem. This is advisable to avoid this hotel for stay.

This place is a resort half hour before kasauli. Pros: Food was ok Cons: Food is expensive Mattresses are low quality Its very far away from kasauli (at least half hour) No view whatsoever (the pictures on tripadvisor are super deceptive) Please beware of the review on tripadvisor. Most of them seem to be fabricated by the marketing team.
